It's about high time for me to pick iphone of these for build. I have heard the stickers are a major pain. What was your experience?

I didn't use the set's stickers, made my own. I'll explain in the blog how to do that.

It's a bit more work but saves the precioussss sticker sheet... and the stickers won't crumble after a year of display. In case you want to sell your set you can tell the buyer you've applied your own stickers, they can either be removed or left in place. In any case he or she will be glad you kept the original sticker sheet intact.

Regarding the stickers on the sheet... it's 23 pieces. That says it all, really; consider them as little breaks during the long and exciting build.

Well, I got my 5-year old son the 75072 ARC-170 Starfighter Micro and my 7-year old daughter the 41032 Friends First Aid Jungle Bike for Valentines Day, so not the most challenging of builds today.  Still, couple of nice little sets to go with their Star Wars and Friends sets, respectively.  My son definitely sent the ARC-170 flying about 10 feet through the air and only one piece shot off...so I count it as a win.  It's always fun to see my little people putting sets together.

Finally got to build the Parisian restaurant. Had it for several years just never got to build. I have  built all the modulars and I think this one is my favorite build. And I had some Lego cake afterwards. Up next, Palace Cinema, Detective Office and Brickbank. I'll post most pictures when done. And I think I have another greengrocer.

I've just finished building the SC tonight and I have to say this is one impressive set!! The detail of the model is unbelievable, hats of to the designer!! IMO it's well worth the USC badge. I also built the EV village a few weeks back, and again IMO a very impressive set, great detail and a very enjoyable build. For investment purposes I definitely thinking about picking up one of each for the vault, after building them both and seeing them on display and can't believe any future investor won't want these in their collection after they retire.

All done . Need a cigarette and I don't even smoke.

build was the most challenging that I have encountered . Parts 1 & 2 get things going with things getting really interesting in parts 3 ( gear box/back ) and definitely 4 (arm)  and 5 (front) . Part 6 is a breeze and a good cool down .

It does get frustrating at some points as is the case with most advanced Technic sets . There always seems to be the inevitable mess up where a gear doesn't click into place or something is not aligned correctly. Atleast for me anyways.

The end product is amazing as display piece and everything works as advertised. Front of the truck is sure to start a conversation or two. Highlight being watching the arm come to life and maneuvering it .

Drawbacks :

-I would have gladly paid a little extra to have a small engine added

- power function doesn't include the tires .

9/10

Ack... I was hoping to avoid this one. :( So much LEGO, so little time.

The two Audi just came in today. Ended up immediately sitting down to put together the R18 e-tron quattro instead of actually getting going with my day. Presented "in-context". I had to shove off to the tiny parc ferme area the one of the two Porsche so I can have the R18 passing the GTE-Pro Ferrari from last year's wave. Some nice multi-angle build ideas in this one to achieve  the very challenging controur's of today's LMP1 class cars. Considering the scale, not at all bad. Looking forward to the Porsche 919 set!

I'll skip the pickup trucks, Camaros, Mustangs and Corvette of this year's wave though, no interest in the "civilian" vehicles. But as an Endurance racing nutter, I am happy Lego caters to my interests so well.

I don't know why Technic is not popular than it is now. IMO it's way more interesting than normal studded Lego.
