tonysbricks
10228 Haunted House. The build was just OK for me but the finished product looks great!
themoose9
Aviation Adventure (31011) First off, I had no intention to build this when I bought it, but for $34 (before SYW points), I couldn't resist. I'd been noticing this set for a while but couldn't justify it at MSRP. I'll try to sum it up...Holy fun! Obviously, I built the plane version and I love the dimensions on this little guy. It even sits "right" (you can change the angle as the rear wheel is adjustable). The color scheme is, well, blue, yellow and white, but that just makes it feel more like a classic LEGO set for me. When I built as a kid, my creations were always multi-colored out of necessity, and it just adds to the charm. Very solid fuselage and heavy for it's size. The landing gear is a bit flimsy when extended, but functional if you want to leave it down...OR, put it up and swoosh it!! Problem solved. The build itself was really fun and I'm looking forward to building the B and C models when I bring myself to breaking this one down. A lot of time is spent on the plate-heavy body, but I found myself building faster as I got closer to the end. It could only have been better if I'd timed fitting the last piece with the climax of "White Rabbit."

Alpinemaps
Built this yesterday. Fun little build, especially for a free set!I really want to MOC this into something a little longer, and make it into a kiddie ride for a Winter Carnival. I have a few of the Emerald Express so I can do that, but I think I like the red better.
Popular Post Patrick_lkc
Built this 787 Dreamliner these couple days. Although it is my third time building it, but still love it so much.

Alpinemaps
Built 44027 Hero Factory Breez Flea Machine tonight with my 3 1/2 year old.I'm not used to building HF or Bionicle. It was a little odd, and I saw pieces I didn't even recognize in the build! He was quite happy with the build when it was done, though. Huskers1236
Finished up Shuttle Tyderium last night. It's awesome. So much better than its predecessors. Never built a 10212, but this was a lot of fun and is very swooshable(according to my son, of course)
Huskers1236
Finished UCS Slave I last night. Amazing, but holy sticker sheet, Batman. Still don't like stickers for UCS sets. That is my only complaint with this set. The build was very fun to watch it come together, and is not monotonous at all. Slave I's shape sort of lends to that. What to build next?

Ed Mack
Besides numerous Bionicle and Chima sets that I enjoyed building, there were two standouts. Rey's Speeder and Ant Man Final Battle sets. Both were creative and had some neat features. I appreciate the design of both, especially the Ant Man set with the large LEGO brick replicas.

That side of my brain I don't think works properly. I do have the new MF as well as some EV I could build. I have built all the Modulars and have them on display, so good there. As for Christmas stuff, I'll build a Santa's Workshop in December, haven't done that one yet, and don't need the new Toy Shop. I'm really deciding between UCS Tie, Red 5, or Sydney Opera House. Maybe Tower Bridge.

My take would UCS Tie and then Red5 (if you don't want to save anything for december ^^) Tower bridge seems to be the most boring build... but I'm not that much into SOH and TB... even though I like the overall design (especially of SOH). If you have a bunch of minifigures, you could try putting together some random characters for the heck of it (a kit-bash or figbarf). Perhaps try drawing a random sketch of whatever then build something to resemble it. November just started so how about a Vic Viper type of build for this year's Nnovvember building challenge.

Vader888
Picked this up when Walmart had that flash sale for 50% off. Build was fun, definitely easier than the AROC. Took me about 5 hours, which was longer than I anticipated.

Popular Post marcandre
Started the PR last night while handing out candy & just finished up. The detail on this is amazing. Of the 4 modulars I have done this is easily the nicest. Pains me to say that as I was determined to keep the GG as my fav but I just can't do it.
Huskers1236
It's my favorite as well. GG held that spot until I built it as well. Looks like your Lego town has a dinosaur problem.
