Neosphinx Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Last Night I built my used Queen Anne's Revenge. What a marvelous ship! I enjoyed every minute building it. Now I proudly display it in our livingroom. Even my wife was thrilled. Maybe tonight I will build the Black Pearl. True true. I don't like ships at all, let alone pirate ships but the QAR was a very nice one. Only problem I had with it that it was too large to put on display on my desk but otherwise, very nice. I think it will appreciate nicely in value.I don't have the Black Pearl but I'm sure they would look nice one next to another! 1 Quote
jgschmieg3 Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 I built the Winter Market Village today. Before I built it I was like meh... About midway through the build I bought one on Amazon to begin stocking up. The carousel is much bigger than a I thought and people are going to want this. 1 Quote

hkstrongside Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 We completed the Haunted House 10228. A little late for Halloween but better late than never. Added a little flair using costume minifigs as trick-or-treaters. Quote
Ciglione Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Last Night I built my used Queen Anne's Revenge. What a marvelous ship! I enjoyed every minute building it. Now I proudly display it in our livingroom. Even my wife was thrilled. Maybe tonight I will build the Black Pearl. Saturday night my wife amd I planned to go to the movie theatre to see "Interstellar". However, the babysitter was sick so we decided to stay home. Maybe we will go next week. So I build the "Black Pearl" instead. Again, a marvelous build. It is smaller than "Queen Anne" and less challenging. I like Queen Anne's Revenge better I have to say. There was only one piece missing. The leaves the female symbol in front of the ship is holding. Maybe I can find it on ebay or bricklink. 'The Queen Anne misses 3 more common pieces. Next on the list will be the "Red Baron". Quote
Huskers1236 Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Finished up some sets that I had been meaning to build. Built new Jabba's Sail Barge about a week ago and Mos Eisley Cantina this morning as I'm sitting home sick. I liked both builds, though they are both small. Figures in the sets are amazing, though. Love Greedo, never had the original. Quote
No More Monkeys Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Have fun! It's a monster! Yeah, i actually somewhere half-way there I think, should have posted more current photo. I am amazed how did they ever came up with the design for it. Seemingly unrelated pieces just fall in place and you eventually see the grand design Quote

This is exactly why I love the advanced Lego sets - especially the modulars and Technics. The cleverness of the engineering is inspiring. I know a lot of people dog the mixer, but the design is nothing short of genius. Quote
matt1147 Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Built the Town Hall last night - it's a monster! I love some of the details on the facade, and the dark orange colors. 1 Quote

Spanky Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 (edited) What did you charge her? Nada. Same as I charged the other daughter who broke open a Winter Village Bakery this morning. I pulled out of storage one each of the holidays sets and let them each pick one to build. Now I need to put together the Holiday Train (already opened) and we'll have a nice little display. Pseudoty Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Battle for Ninjago City. The Dragons Head micro build is pretty cool. This set is packed with hours of play time. There are lots of neat weapons, secret hiding places, trap floors and more. If you can get it on sale makes a great gift for a boy. Time to sell the minifigs. Quote
MikeF Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 Still building the Tumbler and taking my time This is after the Bags 1 and 2 Quote
MikeF Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Tumbler progress, after bags 3 and 4 Really enjoying this build so far, hence why I am taking my time Quote
