redghostx Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 We built Bowser's Castle and I'm really happy with the design and features. Yay LEGO! 7 Quote
t_mafia Posted August 4, 2021 Posted August 4, 2021 Build Hogwarts Chess set. Goes nicely with the previous Harry Potter dice game that came out several years ago. Also threw in the modified Crest, for anyone looking to get a full crest with only one set this is an excellent way to do so 6 Quote

Halfrig Posted August 10, 2021 Posted August 10, 2021 I haven't had time to build much having my 2 year old. She has some Duplo she plays with. I did get time and was able to finish building #6243 Brickbeard's Bounty. Been on a small Pirates theme kick. Got plenty to build, just have not had much time to get to building! 1 Quote
BricksBrotha Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 (edited) My wife built the set, but she called in the big guns for the stickers.☺️ Does anyone have experience with any of the aftermarket or lego official display cases? Edited August 11, 2021 by BricksBrotha 3 Quote
redghostx Posted August 12, 2021 Posted August 12, 2021 This came in the mail today, just in time for our stay at a hotel to avoid the heat. My son built this in our room. I thought it was a great set when I first saw it and it is even better at 40% off.Yay LEGO! 6 Quote
Dlambert2004 Posted August 14, 2021 Posted August 14, 2021 My daughter and I loved building this. Very detailed and stylish. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 8 Quote
Pseudoty Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 Great play set for a kid but for $100 should have 2 more Minifigures. 5 Quote
redghostx Posted August 19, 2021 Posted August 19, 2021 Rebuilt this from scratch on a mils setup. My 2 year old was surprisingly very helpful, except for his idea of stacking the lightposts together (plus three lamps I made for the interior). One down and 15 modulars to go... Yay LEGO! 9 Quote
Popular Post keymomachine Posted August 19, 2021 Popular Post Posted August 19, 2021 I started the Medieval Blacksmith a few weeks ago and then got caught up in Walmart clearance mania, finally finished it yesterday. Love the details in this. 10 Quote

Nice to see someone else using the MILS system. All three modulars I have built are on that system. 1 Quote

redghostx Posted August 19, 2021 Posted August 19, 2021 None of my minifigures/minidolls have hair. 4 year old always removes them.I kept all my small pieces away when he was younger but I realized that he doesn't eat them and have no more concerns with that. However, he does like taking everything apart to make his own designs, which is what I use speed champions sets for. There are some weird looking people and car combinations.Yay LEGO! 2 Quote
Pseudoty Posted August 23, 2021 Posted August 23, 2021 (edited) We had a lot of rain this weekend so I built the Medieval Blacksmith. Probably the best set I have built in the past 2 years. It has details like a Jamie Beard Modular and some neat new building techniques like the roof. 4 good Minifigures, a horse and wagon, a light brick, a dog, No stickers and Sand Green Nexo Knight Shields, what is not to like. Pseudoty Posted August 24, 2021 Posted August 24, 2021 (edited) Started the super castle need to open up all the bags, ugh. #FWP You can watch the Live Stream here: Edited August 24, 2021 by Pseudoty 1 Quote
Mathew Posted August 25, 2021 Posted August 25, 2021 Two things: I didn't know Jang had a monorail (always curious why not) and his alien doppelgänger is Babu Frick. 2 Quote

Right? Which is funny when you go back to all the grumping about how they dumbed down the original model. Literally some of the best Lego I've ever put together. 2 Quote
redghostx Posted August 27, 2021 Posted August 27, 2021 Part 2 of Modular-Mils. Building this set reminded me that some of the pieces have faded (no sand green ones) and I have a note to buy replacement pieces after Covid. That was a LOOOOONG time agoThe rest of the minis are sleeping in the hotel, per my toddler.Yay LEGO! 6 Quote
Popular Post Pseudoty Posted September 11, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 11, 2021 Made some good progress on the mega castle. I am still awaiting a large bricks and pieces order to complete it and populate it with my new Black Falcon Knight army. 11 Quote
Popular Post redghostx Posted September 13, 2021 Popular Post Posted September 13, 2021 I built the Chinese Lantern Festival using mils but really, I drove around the city looking for this porch greeter. I then ran to storage to grab my ecto-1 and GBHQ so that Spengler and Co. can go atop the hotel at Central Park west.Festival is nice, but the sidewalk is too narrow and you can't walk around the bench or lampposts. My poor citizens have to walk into traffic... Or marshmallow men 12 2 Quote
