MusiKyle
40198 Lego LUDO Game This came with a dark gray 32x32 baseplate that you frame out as shown in the instructions in the picture and there are 4 separate 16x16 plate builds that come together to form the game board. The spinner is printed which was cool to see. The spinner spins very nicely when flicked (between 4 - 6 rotations on a decent flick). Not sure what else the 1-6 circle plate would be good for in a MOC. Wheel of fortune MOC? Regarding minifigures, 16 are included. The pants/legs were identical within each color group. Each group had two male, two female. Red has no alternate faces. Blue the female has alternate. Yellow the female has alternate. Green both male and female have alternates. The green male alternate is a "I'm going to puke" face (fat cheeks) which is amusement park-ready but not sure it fits in this game (unless he's been riding the spinner lately, then I get it). My daughter and I now call this the Lego Seasons game, which sound much more fun than Ludo. I'm not familiar with Ludo but the setup and rules remind me of Parcheesi. The rules are also similar to games like Sorry, Trouble, etc. Get a number to go out of your color zone (six), move around the board back to your safe zone. First to get all minifigs back safe wins. We havent played it yet but will later today. Overall decent value for the $27.99 sale price given 16 minifigs, a dark gray 32 x 32 baseplate, 4 of 16x16 plates, and a cool spinner.

Ludo is a simpler derivative of the Indian game Pachisi (westernized as Parcheesi) and the board games you mentioned between Sorry!, Trouble, and Aggravation are themselves based off Ludo. In other words you are correct about this being reminiscent to Parcheesi as that basically what the LEGO game build here is.
Alpinemaps
I built an MOC I designed a few years back, but just never got around to doing. I call it the Winter River. It is built on a MILS plate design. I have a second plate that will go in front of it, called Winter Lake. It will be a frozen pond for ice skating and hockey. Both of these will be for the Winter Village. I finally will start having some plates for the builds to live on.The pics show the different stages - first pics show the “before” the frozen river is added. Next shows the frozen river. And finally, the stone bridge across the river.
Alpinemaps
Totally forgot I had already built the pond! So here’s a pic of the two of them together.
jaisonline
Saw a used 10262 James Bond DB5 set for $100. Decided to take a chance on it. Pretty decent build. Very happy with it. the build wasn’t overly repetitive which is nice. Was also surprised how strong the build it especially w/ the doors. I can hold the car up by a door. Great design.
Captain_chaos
I picked up a bulk lot of Harry Potter sets - including 10217 - so this was my Sunday build. I love this set, always a pleasure to build. This one is in very nice condition too. Edited February 16, 2020 by Captain_chaos
LegoWalker4
I built the 8099 Midi-Scale Imperial Star Destroyer I bought used on Facebook MarketPlace. Though the build was repetitive, which is to be expected for a set like this, it is interesting how the relatively small inner core of the ship that forms the base is where the rest of the structure attaches. I like how the command tower bridge looks and is fairly movie accurate despite its size. The ship rest nicely on a Technic support structure. Cannot wait to build the used 75055 I have next!
Alpinemaps
I built the 8099 Midi-Scale Imperial Star Destroyer I bought used on Facebook MarketPlace.I picked one up at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim years ago. I agree, it’s a great set. I intended to hang it from the ceiling in my son’s room....however, it met with an...unfortunate fate so it’s sitting in a bin, waiting for me to reassemble. Myself, I put together the 20th Anniversary Snow Speeder set 75259. Fun little build. I always loved snow speeders and think this one looks pretty slick.
Pebble&Park
Farnsworth House from a used lot... not my most careful build since I was just checking for completeness. Oddly it was missing one 6x10 plate of all things so I had to replace with the wrong color while I order one. Nice looking set but boring repetitive build.

I admit I regret selling off the Wampa I plucked from a bulk lot many moons ago.
MusiKyle
My wife built the street sweeper tonight and it's both cute, quaint and to my surprise had some functionality! The front sweepers (blue gears) are connected via non friction pins at the front center which means the outside edges of the gears drop with gravity enough to touch the ground surface and functionaly rotate when the vehicle is pushed. The side brushes function similarly. I guess I didn't expect that in a value-priced set and it's cool seeing all four going at once. I was surprised the tires were the smooth racing-slick type and not treaded. I haven't tested other tires but maybe there's a difference in height and they need the slicks to help the side brushes touch the ground so they could function. It's kind of a mash-up vehicle in that it is a combo recycling truck, too. Where I live recycling cans are blue and trash cans vary. City- provided are green, otherwise whatever you find sold at the local hardware store. They include a green trash can and a banana (which is more compost.. that's a kind of recycle, right?) Imaginations can be forgiving so all-in-all nothing to really complain about there. The 1x4 bricks one each side with the recycle grqphics are printed for those that want to part out or start/add to a recycling center MOC. Overall a neat small build and nice addition to most anyone's Lego city.

Alpinemaps
21109 Exo Suit I’ve wanted to build it for years. Finally cracked one open. So many little parts.

So many little parts. I ended up with two I won through Ebay auctions (started investing in late 2016, "missed" out on this set) and sold one to CosmicSpeed. Being a space theme fan, I could not resist this set and it is a very good, if not time, consuming build.
Alpinemaps
I put the Exo Suit up with my Reinhardt and D.Va mechs. They scale well together.
Ecto
Cracked open my Lego Forma last night. The Skin was kind of a pain to apply. Not really wanting to change it out. Here it is in action: https://byte.co/Bort/GR0dAxhpGtn

Here it is in action: https://byte.co/Bort/GR0dAxhpGtn I like it but can definitely see what you mean about the skin. My son got 75248 Resistance Awing for Christmas. He’s not much of a Star Wars guy tho, and I got tired of seeing it partly built so I finished it today.
MusiKyle
Built the Fiat 500 and it was actually a decent build. It is somewhat small but after looking at pictures of the real thing it is also very small. One build technique I found interesting was the use of the technic arms that have minifigure hands on them as a way to secure the bottom of the seats to the chassis, I didn't expect that. The light yellow color is beautiful, very pleasing to the eyes I love it. Might get another set just for the pieces. One complaint I have has nothing to do with the vehicle itself, but the easel, it's very unsteady and insecure. There is no side horizontal brace. So it doesn't take much of a touch to begin to split the legs and the painting falls off. I know that's not the focus of this set but a single 1x4 plate or something could have helped to 'fix' the legs into position. It seems like a cheap addition to the set. If it was going to be built so poorly then give us a printed painting not a sticker. I may end up disassembling the easel and absorbing the pieces into my collection. Otherwise, a nice build and helped contribute to my free 40th train promo.
jaisonline
Always liked Rebels Lego sets. 75157 was the first Clone Wars-ish vehicle I’ve ever build. Pretty decent set. Good old’ Capt. Rex.
t_mafia
Added to my Endgame compound battle scene. Been pulling figures from other sets, such as Sanctum, Hulkbuster smash, both Ant-Man sets, and a few others, as I have gotten them. Cap, Black Widow, and all the guardians are on a different display shelf, need to get dupes of those for the battle, as well as more outriders/chitauri and a few missing villains. Compound set itself was a decent build, could have been much better. Good clearance find after the holidays
locidm
Finished this tonight. Life at home with two kids and still took me three seatings to complete a 275 pcs set. Pathetic. Anyway I enjoyed the build and the result looks real good for a small set. Proportions are much better than the six stud wide SC from before. However I did discover that this F8 is for bald guys only. The hood won’t close all the way with helmet or hair piece on.
