Martae54 Posted January 28, 2019 Posted January 28, 2019 Buying the TRU Geoffrey and friends set will get you some of the parts and the sticker sheet needed. Get them while you can! 2 Quote
Popular Post uaford Posted January 29, 2019 Popular Post Posted January 29, 2019 Built the Slave over the weekend with the kids. Great set! 10 Quote

Popular Post Manse1001 Posted February 2, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 2, 2019 My son has really got into the Brickheadz theme, so I've been creating some Moc designs myself... Dengar, Lando and Han Solo Sent from my CLT-L09 using Brickpicker Forum mobile app 28 Quote
Quacs Posted February 3, 2019 Posted February 3, 2019 Just started on 71043 Hogwarts Castle - great build so far. Quote
Popular Post uaford Posted February 6, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 6, 2019 Had a daddy-daughter date night last night, part of which was building a Groot and Rocket Brickheadz 41626 for my daughter's collection. She loved it because it's 'cute'. 12 Quote
Popular Post Pebble&Park Posted February 9, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 9, 2019 Bought a dragon dance from one of you scoundrels and popped it open tonight! Impressive final product even if a little repetitive in the build. Very happy to have it!Sent from my SM-G935V using Brickpicker Forum mobile app 17 Quote
LegoWalker4 Posted February 9, 2019 Posted February 9, 2019 (edited) Today I built the 30023 Lighthouse polybag from 2011 that I BrickLinked the parts for under $3 and built a MOC of the 75125 Star War Series 3 microfighter Resistance X-Wing Fighter to make it look like Poe's X-Wing Fighter. Those parts cost under $5. I used the Poe minifigure from set 75012. One of the Wedge, Plate 3 x 4 with Stud Notches is not made in orange, so I got the next closest color which is bright light orange to maintain the orange color throughout the body of the fighter. My son built the car from 30529 The Lego Movie 2 Mini Master-Building Emmet polybag and showed it to one of our dogs. The dog, though mildly interested, does not seem all that impressed. Cats may not even care, or think it is a new toy for them… Edited February 9, 2019 by LegoWalker4 3 Quote
Popular Post Shortbus311 Posted February 12, 2019 Popular Post Posted February 12, 2019 Built my Benny that arrived from Target opened. As far as brickheadz go it was a pretty interesting build, but I am a fan of brickheadz...Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Brickpicker Forum mobile app 11 Quote
Alpinemaps Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Built build 3 of 31084 Pirate Roller Coaster. 2 Quote
uaford Posted February 25, 2019 Posted February 25, 2019 Finally built our first Imperial Star Destroyer (6211) that we picked up a while ago on the cheap. The set was bigger than I expected and larger than the 75055 version. It was a decent build...though there were some difficult parts due to poor printing colors in the instruction books that my kids needed some help figuring out. 9 Quote
Popular Post Quacs Posted March 3, 2019 Popular Post Posted March 3, 2019 Excellent build and a great model...the best Creator Expert car yet IMO. 11 Quote
uaford Posted March 7, 2019 Posted March 7, 2019 We built the 7166 Imperial Shuttle (circa 2001) which we got in a bulk lot a while back but never built or sold. This is my oldest SW build to date, and there were definitely lots of build technique differences between this and the newer shuttle builds. Some similarities as well...especially on the wings. Popular Post uaford Posted March 15, 2019 Popular Post Posted March 15, 2019 We built LEGO system 6416 Poolside Paradise and 6411 Sand Dollar Cafe from the 1992 Paradisa Subtheme. Picked them up from Goodwill and wanted to see if they were complete before we sell them. Both complete except 6411 is missing 1 minifig and its box. Much better than expected. The baseplates are crazy! Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum mobile app 10 Quote
Popular Post Huskers1236 Posted April 2, 2019 Popular Post Posted April 2, 2019 Moc I'm working on with the new hall of armor set(s). In progress, still not happy with the angles and getting the arc right but only on day 1.Sent from my SM-G960U using Brickpicker Forum mobile app 17 Quote
LegoWalker4 Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 After a long day and to relieve some stress, I built the Naboo Starfighter Mini polybag, 4813 The Mill and 4193 The London Escape. I plan to sell the 4183 and 4193 Pirates of the Caribbean sets. 5 Quote
$20 on joe vs dan Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Just finished the Tumbler. I built the Batpod a month or so ago (to prepare for the Tumbler) Very satisfying build; pictures just do not do these sets justice...the Tumbler is MASSIVE and those rear wheels (bigger than the fronts and four of them). I alread have the Batpod under glass and until I find a suitable covered display, I wrapped the Tumbler in surran wrap...lame (I know), but it's a dust magnet like no other. 7 Quote

CosmicSpeed Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 (edited) Just finished up the new Porsche 911 RSR. This was a really awesome build. I never put up the money for the Orange one. This one is larger than I expected and has a-lot of detail. 2 sticker sheets, but the smallest is pretty much a 2x1 and they're only two of them IIRC. I've recently been getting into the Technic sets more to build myself, I might have to get the Mack truck next. Edited April 17, 2019 by CosmicSpeed Quote

Sprocket77 Posted April 29, 2019 Posted April 29, 2019 Not a whole lot of building going on yet, but my parents were clearing out the attic and so have reclaimed my childhood Lego. Searched through it last night and found I had all the big castle panels for 6080, so that's going to be the next build. My kids loved the horses and knights. 6 Quote
