Popular Post Lordoflego Posted January 15, 2017 Popular Post Posted January 15, 2017 Finished! It's missing about 30 pieces that will be easy and cheap to buy from BL. I purchased it couple weeks ago for $240 on CL thanks to a tip from @terrymc4677 Will sell on eBay for $600-700. 19 Quote

Pseudoty Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 Finished the skyline series. Venice is the weakest build and Chicago is just ugly. Waiting on Philly for next year. 5 Quote
micbelt Posted January 18, 2017 Posted January 18, 2017 I guess I am in the minority as I like the Chicago skyline set. 3 Quote
AFOL_JZ Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 Snagged this set off of eBay last week and built it today! The Ferrari wheelccover as the rear prop is cool. Fun build and a great price with box, instructions, and all parts. 4 Quote
Popular Post jaisonline Posted January 19, 2017 Popular Post Posted January 19, 2017 I finally got around to building my used 10178 Motorized AT- AT purchased 2 years ago. I'll post more about it in the 10178 topic. In the meantime, here is the finished build compared to what I think is the best AT- AT based on current value, 8017 from 2010. 8017 gives you a lot bang for the buck compared to the 75055 one. Here's a comparison pic of 10178 and 8012. 10178 is about 1 inch higher. Getting a apples to apples height (all 4 legs straight) comparison is tough w/ o taking apart the 10178. Trust me, 10178 is taller. 12 Quote
jonnyhanukkah Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 I'm in the process of building 10215 Obi-Wan's Starfighter. I bought it new/sealed but in a severely damaged box. Little did I know that there was bad water/humidity damage to instructions and some pretty bad wear to stickers. Any tips on how to assist the stickers in sticking to the set? Are there any good pastes or glues that won't leave crazy residue or damage to the Lego over time? It's only a couple of stickers right now that need assistance but I don't know if it'll get worse over time 3 Quote
Guest brickcrazyhouse Posted January 19, 2017 Posted January 19, 2017 I would probably just use masking tape. Any glue would have to leave some kind a residue. But then again I really hate stickers so I would probably just not put them on Quote

jonnyhanukkah Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Finished! This was a quick and relatively inexpensive way to pad my UCS collection ($110 + shipping). Wasn't sure what size to expect but it's a decent size and also narrow enough to store once I bust out the bigger UCS sets 5 Quote
exciter1 Posted January 20, 2017 Posted January 20, 2017 Cheating again with another sizable Halo Pelican Gunship. Fun build and it took a few nights. 6 Quote

Popular Post Alpinemaps Posted January 21, 2017 Popular Post Posted January 21, 2017 My son and I built 75094 Imperial Shuttle Tydirium over the last few days. I'd say it was a 50/50 effort. Wow. What an impressive set! I'll always be bummed that I missed out on the UCS version. This is a great set though. Definitely a winner. 12 Quote
Popular Post lego rules Posted January 21, 2017 Popular Post Posted January 21, 2017 Gorgeous creation by Lox Lego. The creation of curves and style used worked quite well for this car. If you would like more info see the home page for this creation: Hennessey Venom GT In its new garage spot with some of the other super cars. Fits right in! 19 Quote

Popular Post exciter1 Posted January 22, 2017 Popular Post Posted January 22, 2017 2 for 2 on The LEGO Batman Movie sets. This thing is awesome and I think there are a few new elements in here. Paid RRP this time, which pains me, but I really wanted this set. Even bought 2. 17 Quote
ponderingzissou Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Ecto- 1&2 #75828. Fun build. Much longer car than I expected. Love the opening doors. Starting Batcave Break-In (70909) now. 3 Quote

Popular Post HandyHand Posted January 22, 2017 Popular Post Posted January 22, 2017 I recently built the new 75153 AT-ST Walker, and set it up in my display cabinet next to the 75094 Imperial Shuttle Tydirium: Of course, the minifigs are not from the same movie, but the models themselves are. My other recent build was the new 75172 Y-Wing: I love the model and am happy to have added it to my collection. 11 Quote
