uaford
Finished building the Tydirium with the kids last night. Fun stuff! My son had his birthday last weekend and he ended up with 3 large Lego sets, so the Ghost and Kylo Ren's Shuttle are now next on his (and my) to-build list. The kids liked this one better than the Imperial Assault Carrier, but not as much as the motorized At-At or the Millennium Falcon. I don't trust any Superheroes sets anymore. Of course there will be winners, but with the proliferation of figures being re-used in different sets and the fakes being imported by the billion, I'm steering clear of them. This is probably one of the better ones that has come around lately, though. I still need to see the movie, though, and can't really form a truly informed decision until then.

I kind of doubt it. What makes a Super Hero set pricy after it retires is if it has an overwhelmingly popular character that won't appear in another set (Deadpool) or incredibly, unbelievably short shelf life (Ant-Man Final Battle.) Unless this set disappears from shelves in October, we're probably looking at Darkseid Invasion Pt. 2.
Fenix_2k1
Threw these little fun sets together while running through some systems releases and waiting for other guys to do their thing. These are great little play sets for kids and good value for money with two minifigs and two vehicles. Not sure how collectors will take to them but meh they kept me amused for a few minutes.

Popular Post cubfan78
Finally Finished this bad boy after building it little bit at time over the last week and half. This is my first big build and I am really digging these larger SW sets.

I'm calling it now. These will actually perform better than 90% of the other superhero sets out there. If there is a series 2, even better.

orkira
I finally got around to opening & putting the 2015 Star Wars Advent Calander together last night. I procrastinated on it...lol.
midbenne
Built this a few weeks ago, just haven't shot it yet...It's got a cool elevator lift on the right hand side, the stairs move up and down, Hans in Carbonite can be maneuvered from facing out and in an upright position to lowered down in more of a flat position. I really like the one with Boba carrying Hans without any support. However, irl, there was support, but it got removed digitally I also stacked 3 images in PS to create a depth of field that showed all 3 figures in focus on the last frame. That was fun too. Deanfjr
Finally got our pick-a-brick order yesterday, so we just built the Star Wars: Escape The Space Slug Set I sold the real one we got at the store, then ordered the bricks to build our own (Sensei Wu not included) Edited May 20, 2016 by Deanfjr

That's the gist. I bring them into photoshop as layers, then auto align, then auto blend as a stack, then crop, and finally adjust the flattened image back in light room. GiliusThunderhead
Well I obviously FAIL at LEGO. Putting together my bricklinked 10212 (so having to use printed out instructions). My excuse is cheaping out on ink but I've got to the stand and seem to have 2 4x1 dark grey bits left when I actually require black ones. Worrying thing is I also have 2 x 1x6 dark grey ones in my pile as well which i'm sure shouldn't be right. Will I be OCD enough to take apart the shuttle and see where I went wrong? Absolutely epic model though and HUGE - dwarfs tiny Jango Santa. I'd heard the thing was big but I reckon it'll be the corner stone of my display. Fun build and I didn't actually find it repetitive at all. I knew it would be up there but having one put together its firmly in my top 5 sets. .

Well its been £230 for the ship (including a replica sticker sheet that actually doesn't look that bad). Ended up buying from 3 different stores in the end. I also got a bargain deal for the Vader (new), Storm Trooper, Imperial officer and Imperial pilot for an extra £20 on eBay. Only missing Luke and all the weapons. To put it in perspective the cheapest you can find a used, complete with instructions (and usually the box) in the UK is £350. Ok, I don't have Luke but as I wasn't buying this for any kind of investment saving works out ok. Plus it was a nice little project.

I just took apart a loose one to clean it before I start the build. I bought a used one last week. First set of bricks went in the dishwasher last night and they are drying out. My fingers were definitely sore after pulling apart all the Technic pieces. There's a bunch of Technic in this set.
feed
Running through a few small SW sets I picked up used preparing for resale. Geonosian Cannon is quite a nice little build. With the Ventress/Opress/Maul story arc being my favourite clone wars story and Darth Maul probably my favourite SW universe story arc, now that he’s popped up in rebels. I wasn’t planning on, but I’ll probably end up keeping the Nightspeeder and the Mandy speeder, for a little while anyway.
