What LEGO set did you build today?

i am trying to decide which set to build next. I am deciding between the temple of airjitzu, Ferris wheel, and pet shop. I have them all already and my son has opened them all in anticipation (he is 5). Anyone want to help me out with which one to build next?

Airjitzu or Ferris Wheel...I would go Airjitzu, the autumn colored leaves with the sweet building is quite pleasing on the eyes IMO. Have fun!

Agreed - Airjitsu is a great build and design.  FW end product looks great but gets a little repetitive toward the end with all the baskets.  PS is a good build, but Airjitsu is much better.

My story is boring compared to the last few but I built the Flatiron Building to distract me.  I wasn't looking forward to the build because of how small the finished product is but I was really surprised and how it ended up.  It looks fantastic with other architecture sets around it and was a very enjoyable, if slightly repetitive build.

This is also a good set for people to part out or to use the parts to make your own MOC with.

Out of all the Architecture sets I've built, this was one of my favorites.  I'm not sure what it was, I enjoyed the multiple SNOT techniques used, the fact that I didn't have to line up a bunch of 1x1s, and it seemed less repetitive than some of the others.

Oh, it was a gift and I didn't have to buy it.  That may have been a big part of it.

Got this set used, well below retail price. Not so pleased with the shipping box, but for the price I didn't complain much... Its been about a week and half now and I seem to still have a bunch of pieces left over. All the pieces came mixed in, so no number bags. If I couldn't find a piece after a certain time frame I'd move over to the next step. Somewhat of a frustrating build for me. Still a working process, but she is getting there.

Just happy to be an owner of this amazing set.

I can't actually believe the seller has posted this without wrapping the actual Lego box!!! Some people have no Lego Etiquette !!  Nevertheless, at least you got it at a good price, its a fantastic set and one every fan should own! Enjoy!

Pro Tip 1: separate by colour first, then since you have so many light bluish greys, separate those by size: small, medium, large

Pro Tip 2: if you skip a step because of a missing piece, jot the step # down on a piece of paper so you can revisit at the end and match leftover parts to the steps. :)

Otherwise, agreed it's a shame the shipper just taped it up and slapped a label on it... It is an amazing set.

Did this after work yesterday...It's got a cool little secret compartment for the death star plans under that translucent turquoise pc...enjoyable build that really didn't take too long at all but then again it was only 196 pcs.

Your photos are beautiful...thus I like the set as well! :))

Appreciate the kind words. Photography is one of my other non-lego usages of time besides family and work, which lately, has been riding the bench...However, since I've begun building recently and really getting into this with my son, I've started to really enjoy taking these types of pictures vs. my typical landscape shots :)

Hope to see some more from you soon... I really love the carpet looking like a surface of a planet in a distant galaxy! ;)

Great shots! :)

Finally doing a big Lego build day with 2 friends tomorrow. I'm building 71016 (Kwik-e-Mart), one friend is building 76052 (60s Batcave), and the other is going all-out and building 75827 (Ghostbusters Firehouse)

Should be a long, fun day!

I really appreciated the detail given by the design team at the front of the manual but I greatly detested being instructed to put stickers on AFTER attaching the wings to the cockpit AND placing pieces to secure the wings and obstruct the panel that I have to put stickers on.  It would have been much better to put the stickers on earlier. **Make a note - if you plan to build this, and use the stickers, put the 4 arrow stickers on before you attach the wings.**

I've found this is the case on a few sets I've built recently. I know the Ghostbusters Firehouse has some stickers that are like that; build this section and after you have attached it to the house, now you can put the stickers on. I will never understand why they think that is a good idea.

The kids and I finished up the 9444 Cole's Tread Assault that I got used along with the 10178 Motorized At-At.  It was our first and only Ninjago set and has some cool features, like being able to invert and drive upside down with the pivoting cockpit.
