Deeker
How was building the technic 24 hour race car? Was it as fun as it looks? Display well?

When you've got used to the bag 1, bag 2 format of most lego, hunting through all the bags for a part seems frustrating now. The actual build was fun though. Fiddly at points and takes a while to realise what different pieces of the build are for but when it comes together its quite a clever build. It's quite an impressive size for the money too (£68 from German Amazon) I'm waiting for Smyths to drop the price on the Technic Cargo Plane as I think that will be an even more impressive build especially with the power functions included in the set. As for displaying, it's very impressive to look at all the detailing and how it is built, but I'm really running out of room for displaying Lego. Battrax
The 24 Hour Racecar is low on functions but impressive beast to display, I agree. However: Disclaimer:I realise this may make some here wish they had a chaise longue/fainting couch. Proceed at your own risk. Needs more stickers (and the stabilisation fin to look like a proper LMP1 or recent closed cockpit LMP2). I bought off Bricklink some more relevant (e.g. Octan) decals and built the fin with mostly left-over parts.

I think the bright green panels is what makes this an eye catcher. I still have mine on display but it's days may be numbered. I am currently working on 3 super car MOC's and waiting on instructions for another so something may have to go......

I think the ones provided would make the model look worse rather than finishing it off. I kind of like the generic nature of the car. If it was to try to resemble a particular car or car class I think it's appeal would be lower, as you've pointed out, this way its open to modification. Alpinemaps
That was the first architecture set I build, and I really liked it. Of the sets I've built so far (only a few), I'd say that was my favorite.
legorunner
I just finished the Mos Eisley Cantina (75052) - thanks to @Phil B for the hook up earlier this year! Fun to build, lots of neat details, and great parts for future MOCs.

Popular Post waydog
Awesome build. Somewhat complex and yet fun too. Playing afterwards is a lot of fun as well. Very cool to be able to change mazes as well. This is a huge winner in my humble lego opinion. Usually after the build, the set is just a trophy but this set is very fun after the build. The designer of this set gets a big thumbs up in our house.

fuzzy_bricks
70172, while this is a Ultra Agents set, the kids thought it was awesome. Tons of playability and the fact that you can fit a minifig in the sharks mouth is sweet. The crane that holds the cell is weak and the giant harpoon gun hanging off the small boat is comical, but still a fun set. 5x eBay bucks and I broke down and bought our first Indiana Jones set. Came clean and with every piece in good shape, awesome set. I want to pick up a couple more now. Does anyone know if there are straight pieces of this smaller track?
tjj1984
My girlfriend and I have been building Parisian Restaurant and binging Netflix all weekend. I'm pretty sure she's hooked on LEGO. All according to the plan.

redghostx
21022- Lincoln Memorial. It's really small and my least favorite architecture set, even below the Sydney Opera House. Disclaimer - I never built the original burj set so that could be worse.
