I sometimes worry my account will be flagged and banned too, because I have bought a lot of multiples of sets whenever there are clearance deals. However, I try to keep each individual order to 3 sets, and so far, so good. I just got a shipping confirmation from one of my Classic Tower orders from this morning, so no problems yet.

These went quick in-store as well... I pass 4 walmarts on the way home from the office, the first 3 stops had none whatsoever (& these were the usually less trafficked ones) in the 3rd I happened upon the stock clerk in the toy section restocking the endcap with the Duplo boxes & she said they sold 60 boxes of the classic in the first couple hours the store opened, there was a line up at the door before they opened!  (they're already on local kijiji at $65)   the last store on the way was the fancy new superstore which is always the busy one, so I wasn't even gonna bother but in the excitement of the quest I forgot to get cat food so stopped by anyway - they had just rolled out a fresh new pallet full - in the food section! as there wasn't any more room next to the toys.     (I bought the kitties the slightly higher end tins this week :-)

btw - a little bird told me there are 2 pallets to each store per Wednesday truck, 2 trucks during the pre-black Friday sale - so the next restock will be next Wednesday over-night... just say'n

No wonder why Lego executives claim there will be a "shortage" this xmas because they spend so much time pumping out this tower!

If there will be a restock next week, it will be madness next weekend after parents cannot find this item this weekend.

Just in case they don't restock next week I grabbed a few more. It will be interesting to see if they also put it in next week's flyer...

Nice. I placed 3 orders to get my 20. I was a little Leary of getting a random ban from ordering to many of these. So i got a friend to order 10 more. And gonna check out my local Walmart tomorrow.

26 shipped as well... plus the 49 i got in store yesterday... i will have enough to make a thorn chair! :victory:

"The Brick Throne" more uncomfortable than sitting on the Iron Throne...

Saw some in store finally, skid was basically empty. Left em there as my 2 will be more than enough for whatever i decide to do with them.

Comments like these make me realize how small-time i really am in comparison to others! :P

Eh, it's not that bad, you just need a bunch of tiles to make a smooth surface. :)

A throne of Lego you say... I like the sound of that! I'll make a draft in LDCad and get a part count.

And that is what will bring in strict purchase limits.

I won't be so sure about much people returning this... at $40 can't go wrong for keeping it for other kid's xmas or birthday present.

One guy on RFD said last year he sold a bunch just selling them on Kijiji in downtown Toronto.

Me thinks there is going to be some returns to walmart :)

I hope no one ever returns that set, just ship them to me! I'll pay extra for the trouble. :)

I sold all of mine downtown Toronto last year.  I sold under 10 units but there wasn't that much competition.

Look on kijiji now!  There is a boat load of them for sale!

I have completely stayed away from this set this year.  I will be happily buying exclusives and getting my gingerbread house.

That's the thing with these creative boxes, they're just classic system bricks & thus have no shelf life limit, like a series set, if you have the storage space they'll be an easy sell anytime of the year, who doesn't want/need basic elements?... actually these are kind of an anti-QF since everyone & their dog is trying to sell them on kijiji right now at +10% you'll score better if you wait a few weeks/month or more.

I plan on selling these over the next eleven/twelve months until the 2016 version :)

Agreed... last year I managed to get some from the mysterious stock Walmart found the first week of December. By the time the quick flippers sold out for $5 profit I had received mine and made $25-$30 per flipping them on Kijiji. People who held out until January were hitting $35-$40 per selling locally. I stopped following after that. :)

If there's any pickers in the lower mainland that managed to score a good load of these..... I'd really love to get 2 or 3 more at as close to original cost as possible. If anyone is willing to share some holiday spirit with a local meetup and exchange I'd love to hear from you by PM. Might even consider throwing in a holiday train to sweeten the deal for you.
