Robb Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Has the idea of having a section that's like Amazon been kicked around? Rather than everyone making their own listing for the same item, every set could be listed (every set is already listed on Brickpicker) and there would be a "sell this item" option. I know this is quite different than how it is now, but it's one of the things I love about selling on Amazon. Quote

I know what you are getting at, but i don't think that will take shape here, not that exact style anhow. The #1 reason why is that Brick Classifieds is wide open. People can list any brick related item they want. Posters, MegaBloks, Kreo, toilet paper with LEGO logos on them if they want. I don't have to really worry about a database then. People can then run their shop they way they want. Now I can put together a basic template setup though to fill in the blanks for a set # to be faster and yes that has been on the list for a while. Alpinemaps Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Jeff and I just tried it out, and it looks like it's working now. You should see the link to "Print shipping label" and "Add tracking info" on your summary screen. Quote

How about just adding a big "sell this set!" button to the price guide listing? 1 Quote
Jeff Mack Posted January 2, 2016 Author Posted January 2, 2016 Sure that is possible. I need to create a link between the two systems which is cool, other things need to be done between them anyhow. 1 Quote

This happened to me with a recent BC sale as well. I ended up hand writing the labels and added the tracking # to BC. There was no way to add it ti PayPal. From my findings this has happened from time to time with no definite answer as to why. I came to this thread because the same buyer bought from me again and the link is back. Except every time I try to calculate shipping cost I get an error "We’re unable to process your request. Please try later." Are you saying the error is on BC or Paypal? Quote
MarleyMoose Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Pay Pal. I was trying to add info then realized that the post was old. Quote
TheGallows Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Is there a way to filter your search results by country/region. Be really handy if I could just see the UK or Europen results. Had a look but I couldn't see the option. Cheers guys. 1 Quote

Everything I looked up today had all US addresses. Maybe the classifieds are only being used by people in the US? Edited January 6, 2016 by lukiepete typo Quote
Jeff Mack Posted January 6, 2016 Author Posted January 6, 2016 There are a few things you can do 1. You can look up local shops in countries near youhttps://www.brickclassifieds.com/find/local 2. If you do a search, type in something in the bar, you will see shipping/from options in the sidebarhttps://www.brickclassifieds.com/search/all?cat=all&q=10179 I will get those added to the other views as well Quote
longshot Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 HI guys, Trying to post my first listing and have a cpl questions. 1. How do you save a partial posting as a draft. If I exit it shows something was started but when you go in its blank. 2. In the shipping I put free in each of the areas but when I go to preview is says the shipping is incomplete. Not sure what Im missing here. Thanx for the help Quote
longshot Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I also uploaded a profile pic but only a square shows. Is there a certain format it needs to been in to appear properly......... Thanks Quote
MarleyMoose Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I'm wondering how I delete my 10030 want ad. I can't figure it out. I feel dumb... help. Quote
RTRC Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Wow, what a great site. Listed 1 x-wing, ended up selling two of my x wings and a AT-AT; all sold within 24 hours. Almost 100 people visiting my listings during that time frame alone! Hopefully my buyers are just as good as me as your website is. If my buyers don't try to pull any funny business, this really would end up being my best experience selling Lego. 2 Quote
Veegs Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Anyone else experiencing issues? I got a paypal notification I have new funds, checked it out - not from ebay. I think it is from Brick Classifieds as I don't have any other places I sell. Also, due to the price I'm pretty sure it was a Sea Cow. When I check BC, though, it doesn't show a sale, and the paypal info doesn't list the set(s) sold in the transaction summary. Any advice? Quote

I know it's from BC because I received a sms text that I sold something on BC, got the funds, but there's no record of a transaction on BC. Quote
Veegs Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 I was going to email the buyer to double check the item, but didn't want him/her to think BC has issues I'll hold off for now - I'm at work anyway, so Lego isn't getting packed now anyway. Maybe just a glitch. Quote
gregpj Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Jeff - newbie77 is having trouble posting a want ad to Brick Classifieds (clarified with him that it is indeed BC where he is posting). Just bringing it to your attention so you can help him out. Quote
DarthGagnon Posted March 14, 2016 Posted March 14, 2016 Anyone have a connection to the administrator of Brick Classifieds? My 1st order purchased ($75 total) and the seller won't communicate with me via BC's email. Took my money and never sent me the order. 15 days now and we both live in the US. i have tried twice to contact BC via their link to report seller issues on their site and also tried posting on their Twitter page. no luck. feel helpless and disgusted i was ripped off first time i used the site and i can't get ahold of anyone. would just like an alternate way to communicate with seller. THANKS Quote

THANKS I'm sorry your first transaction didn't go smoothly. I've sent Jeff & Ed a message and Ed mentioned he would pass along to Jeff. Jeff is usually very responsive. Hopefully this will get cleared up soon. what was the store name? Quote
