legopocalypse Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Google is looking to cash in with a new "buy now" button that will challenge Amazon's "one click ordering" feature. http://www.wsj.com/video/google-preps-shopping-site-to-challenge-amazon/93250872-9A36-44C5-BC59-98849EBC0E19.html Quote
ISO8T0 Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 (edited) Interesting. For Google to take total control of your shopping experience as a market "rep" sounds like a good idea, but those retail companies would lose site traffic to their sites. For us however, this could prove to be a good thing b/c Google could potentially hunt down the best deal for us. Similar to how the Shopping site is set up now, but with quick "one click ordering" added to it. Edited December 18, 2014 by pstebbing Quote
mscheaf Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Hasn't Amazon sued anyone and everyone that tried to do that? This could be fun. Quote
