cobrakai Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 I have watched a lot of documentaries about food & health on Amazon, Netflix, etc. They all basically have the same message: 1.Processed foods are really bad for us 2.Artificial sweeteners, etc are really bad for us 3.Meat is ok, but we eat too much and too big of portions or it 4.Nuts and beans are good 5.Drink more water 6.Soda is bad, diet soda is WORSE 7.Processed foods and artificial sweeteners cause more inflammation 8.Inflamation is bad 9.Eat a good, healthy breakfast and a smaller dinner 10.Eat something every 2 hours instead of 3 large meals I agree with all of this, but the way our society is set up it is very hard to do sometimes. I think our bodies are naturally set up to follow the hunter-gatherer/paleo diet concepts. I often think being a full time reseller can actually help your overall health because it gives you the flexibility to do allow your body to thrive the way it is meant to. I know I feel much better when the sunlight wakes me up instead of the alarm clock. Quote

Part of my problem is processed food, its just too easy and convenient to grab that for a quick meal vs making a meal. Making the time for it has been difficult for me. dubzero Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Personally I follow the 85/15 rule. I eat clean 85% of the time and don't worry about the rest. We're human and we like our junk food. Moderation is the key. Drink plenty of water and sleep 6+ hours a night. 1 Quote
