andyposterfan Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Looks like the Tie isn't getting reduced in Europe or Australia... Quote
Furious_george Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 Don't really need it here. Shops been throwing them out at $200 regularly. RRP is $300. Quote
ppsagehen Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 I wonder how will the scale of this compares with the new m. falcon? would it make sense to display them both together? Quote
Martae54 Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 I am guessing 75101 and 9492 are closer to scale. But I don't own A UCS MF so i can't be sure. The UCS TIE is actually to minifigure scale correct? Quote

No it does not make sense. Not every UCS model is minigfig scale and generally TIE Fighters are really small. UCS Millenium Falcon is minifig scale, UCS TIE is way larger. Even regular First order Tie Fighter set is larger than minifig scale. 1 Quote

I got them in Germany from Galeria Kaufhof for about 120€ (150€ regular, but they are gone soon) with Payback and ToysRUs has them for 162€ for a while (+10%-20% sale in August) Quote
Guest TabbyBoy Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 I can't help thinking that this will suffer a similar post EOL performance to Red 5. Too available and too discounted will kill it. Another buyer's remorse purchase from last year, a year that I'd like to forget! Quote
Super Hans Posted September 1, 2017 Posted September 1, 2017 Red 5 isn't doing too badly. It seems to be selling on eBay for £250-300. That's a decent profit on the £169.99 RRP and these were available at a reasonable discount IIRC. The Sandcrawler on the other hand struggles to achieve RRP. Quote
