Walmart Canada - 10664 (1600 parts) - $40

Walmart Canada has the set 10664, a tub of 1600 parts, for $40! The sets were in the center of an alley under a $44.99 sign, but they actually scanned for $40.

I first heard of this through Toys ****** Bricks, so I went to have a look around. The find is confirmed at a Walmart in Montreal. Others have reported finding some in Toronto and in Quebec City.

Happy hunting!

Picked up 3 of these earlier today at one of my locations, under $0.03 a piece and it`s quite an assortment. Bricklink value is almost $140 U.S. if anyone wants to part out, or you can try and flip. In any case, excellent price!

Congrats guys. I'm excited about this set! We don't have it in the US yet. But our Walmart will have them on sale for $30 (!) on Black Friday. I'm pumped to get so many bricks at such a good price! I'm going to be buying as many of these as I can.

Thanks.

You can take the iphone app and scan the barcode and see if they have it at your local store and the price. Mine does show it for $30.

Cool. I don't assume it shows stock in Canadian stores too? :)

I didn't see an official Walmart app on my Nexus 7, they probably don't mean to make it available in Canada for a good reason.

It was just listed on the US Walmart website here. It's unknown if the $30 price is just on Black Friday.

Yes it is confirmed Walmart Canada does carry this item: I found it in one of Walmart store in Montreal.

They also put 10557 Duplo (Contains 200 pieces) on sale for the same price: $40.

They had these same boxes by the pallet last year as well.  It may be weird but when you dump the contents out for sorting they just don't feel or sound quite like normal set based Lego elements - a much thinner sound & the yellows are much more mustard'ey looking.

The box tops do make a neat little wall hanger thou.
