Custom sets can become very pricey if Bricklink'd out... This is all true. Doing customs becomes very expensive. You are typically going to need to get your pieces from many different places, paying shipping costs for each different time. And it becomes addictive. I've dropped a lot of money building custom pieces, far too much money. Cautions aside though...if money isn't the concern, then buying these instructions is a perfectly reasonable idea if you see something you like. One of the coolest but most expensive Lego projects I did was an Indiana Jones Tank from The Last Crusade. It is amazing how much some of these individual pieces cost.
