Guest TabbyBoy Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 I used to prefer BIN with BO over an auction but, there were two major disadvantages for me. The first being that I travel a lot with work and may not be around to post when item is paid for. Secondly BIN means having to comply with UK distance selling rules where you have to accept returns for a period after sale regardless of buyer's reason. This means a returned set can wipe out most profit and may not be returned in mint condition. Auctions get around this but, selling price will be much much lower. If I ever get back onto eBay, I'll use Auctions with a 1p start and break-even reserve to attract watchers and ending on a Thursday evening allowing me to post on Friday/Saturday. I can then state either no returns or restocking fee where you can't if you use BIN. Quote
justapilgrim Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 I use everything. Having 0.99c starting prices with no reserve drives traffic to my other listings. I will lose money on one eventually, but they always sell at good enough price Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Brickpicker mobile app Quote
