Locutus001 Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 That's a rather cryptic post. Or to say the least it is minimalistic. My answer: maybe. 1 Quote
Val-E Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 So is this one to stock up on at 40% off or better like the Xwing and Tie and wait till EOL? It Quote
Migration Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 This is the latest in a long line of b-wings. At 40% off you should do alright, I wouldn't go to crazy though. Quote
Lokin4AReason Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 its a neat set, I have bought one over the weekend and enjoyed putting it together Quote
GiliusThunderhead Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Wouldn't mind one for the personal collection but not rushing to buy at mrsp. Bogof at the moment so could pick up a pair and stash one for a later sale to recoup some of the original purchase. Anyone a buyer of this one as an investment? I get the general feeling that the b-wing is pretty unloved in the Lego world (so your after market is only really hard core collectors who now have so much more to spend their $$$ on). Quote
Val-E Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Has it really been 9 months since anyone discussed this model? At least it is retired now so might make some headway by movie release, although the major shops all have plenty left. Quote

dcdfan Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 9 months since the last comment probably answers my question. That's why, Yoda you are. Quote
MarleyMoose Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 Sitting on 8 that I bought at $25 ea WM clearance. Unless Ep 7 has a couple of these I'm not expecting too much down the road. Quote

Probably means we'll see a rebel snowspeeder. Swoosh. Edited September 4, 2015 by cladner Quote
conceptmachine Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 (edited) Target had this on clearance in my neck of the woods. Only saving 20 though. They did have others 1/2 off though. Edited September 4, 2015 by conceptmachine Quote
kiltyoneal Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Picked one of these up today at Target for $24.98. I think they got added to the clearance list yesterday. Quote
bdoubleg Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 In the UK you can get for 25 GBP. What was the UK RRP its not listed on this site? Might take a chance on a couple. Quote
GiliusThunderhead Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 £49.99 I think. @ 50% off you should do ok with this set but i'm still not sold on it. Quote
thoroakenfelder Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Anyone who is sitting on stock that they got super cheap and wouldn't mind selling at cost, I'd like to get one to review, and they're still retail around here. Quote
Val-E Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 I wonder how much the Rebels thing helped it on its way? Now this one is out of the road, the UCS has no competition. One has to think that Lego won´t be in a rush to remake either version. Quote
Val-E Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Available to backorder again in the US. Might be a cheap way to snare a GH if they don´t fulfil..... Quote
uaford Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 (edited) The 75050 B-Wing is up near $100 on Amazon and selling nicely. This was the first set I bought multiples of for resale purposes (though the idea was widely panned online) and could easily be had in the $20s a year and a half ago. Nice run already for a simple OT ship with exclusive minifigs...plus with no re-re-re-remake rumors currently I am actually holding onto my last few to see if these can reach 5x my average buy-in. MarleyMoose Posted June 9, 2017 Posted June 9, 2017 I picked up 8 for $25 ea at WM awhile back. I'll have to pay more attention. Quote

HandyHand Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Checking the price-history of this set at Brickwatch apparently it was sold at a minimum for €20,40 some time around July/August 2015. That was a month before I came out of my LEGO Dark Ages, so I missed that opportunity. At Dutch RRP of €64,99 I wasn't interested in it . Still not interested in it any way, though I wish I could have gotten the 10227 UCS version at the big discount it apparently sold before EOL. Even just for my own collection. Oh well... Quote

I hear y'all. I sold all 15 of my $99 sets for. $200 shipped. Sold a $140 one for $200. Then bought one for $275 after EOL because I wanted one to eventually build. 1 Quote
