Can probably narrow down the hacker profile to people in their 50's with expertise in CP/M. Of all the in-store payment systems to hack, why Kmart? Not like there is a lot of money to be made from the typical in-store customer. Any hacker that follows brickpicker would know they don't need to swipe customer's payment info.
