Locutus001
Most of you will know R2D2 from Star Wars and of course the LEGO Set might be on your list when it comes to investments. (I guess if some investors did actually build the sets they own they could build a small droid army ^.^ ) Since it's an awesome LEGO model I guess that a lot of you own one for yourselves as well. Doing most important research on the internet I found some nice R2D2 MOCs/Versions that I'd like to share with you all because I think they are awesome and add some spice to the normal model. Hope you enjoy them.

Locutus001
So if adding some colors is not enough for you then you can also add some movement! And since a lot people here already have discusses a new moving, head spinning, blinking R2D2... no need for it because it already exists! ;-) Could LEGO come out with one? Yes! Will they? Probably not because they want you to buy LEGO power functions! (And adding them will cost some money so most people won't buy an R2D2 anymore if they have to pay additional money I guess... ask LEGO why they didn't already come up with something like that). Anyhow here is a nice little video clip from youtube showing what can happen if you add some power functions to your R2D2: Also there is a link there to the instructions: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/397454 And if you're ambitions enough you will also like this link: (I guess your average R2D2 UCS won't be enough to build this one though! Maybe building one ouf metal will be less costy ^.^).
