CNH1974 Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Bit of advice folks. I am trying to complete a 8275 Technic Bulldozer before listing it. I have bought a few pieces on ebay but I suspect to buy all the missing pieces will quickly eliminate any profits on the set. So I thought I might try to get my head around Bricklink or Brickowl. Does anyone know any good Bricklink or Brickowl stores that are UK based? I was at Steam in Swindon last weekend and Minifigforlife.com had a stall there. Their Bricklink store seems to be good but does not have everything I need. I want one that provides a good service and good range of parts. Does not have a silly minimum purchase; Minifig for life is Quote
justafrog Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 The fastest way to find what you're looking for is probably to build your wanted list and then check the store terms and feedback for what pops up. I have bought quite a lot on BL (in the US, but no reason the UK would be different) and most transactions go very well. I do check for crazy store terms (and least favorite those stores so they don't come up for me in future) and scary feedback in advance. Good luck! 1 Quote
glenbart Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Shore is a good u.k seller on bricklink, cheap parts, postage and sels vintage Lego. Quote
CNH1974 Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 Thanks both. The search function has a few quirks. Its very old school. I cannot believe that the entire site does not have vintage castle shields when they often turn up in bulk lots on ebay. Quote

I've bought tons of shields on Bricklink before, but never the original "yellow castle era" ones. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?pg=1&catString=418&catType=P Quote
CNH1974 Posted October 10, 2014 Author Posted October 10, 2014 Thanks for that. I found what I wanted using your search. I was using the piece number from Peeron. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3846px10 Found it here but the Peeron entry for 6059 lists it as 3846p4c Quote
