Nycwill Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Hi All, My name is Will I have always love lego but growing up I never get a chance to own any. But ever since a month ago when my friend told me about investing in Lego. It got me looking into it more. Initially I wanted to just invest to flip but I'm becoming more of a collector now. My first set is the Petshop I got a month ago and since then I ordered more, in my personal collection so far I have the Petshop, Grand Emporium, Fire Brigade, Volkswagen. UCS Tumbler ( might hold on it to flip), ghostbuster. I'm planning to order the rest of the modular sets. This is a really expensive hobby but I love it. I'm hoping to get into investing to at least pay for the sets I own. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 Welcome, Will. Yes it can be an expensive hobby depending on your tastes but not much different than any other really. :) Quote
jaisonline Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 As Orc mentioned, welcome. Good luck with your Lego building and collecting. Quote
Nycwill Posted October 1, 2014 Author Posted October 1, 2014 Thank you for the warmn welcomes! I think ill take a break after I get the rest of the modulars that are currently out. If I were to collect only the modular set I think i dont think ill go broke LOL. Maybe I'll get few duplicate sets just to hold on to. Quote

Sharkmark Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 I think we are all trying to offset our purchase costs ( mind are for my kids - no, honest!) by selling some retired sets. Good luck! Quote
