Nice catch! The Volvo is really cool besides off course the R2's. In my opinion the Technic Volvo is a very low volatile safe investment.

I don't do things quite on Tabbyboys scale but admire the confidence and experience that goes with that kind of spend.

I just picked up 3 x 41055 Cinderella Castle sets as at the time (2am) they were 25% off before I used the 3 for 2 on them. Again its more for the "if they sell out" philosophy everyone will want them, and if not my kid and friends will have them, so no loss. Been doing the same with some non-lego Frozen toys, which are already going unavailable country wide.

I've reserved 3x r2d2s on 1 order and then made a second one with 1x r2d2, x-wing and mill falcon. A bit annoying as most of the shops here have 1 of each so its quite annoying trying to get what you want in the basket!

So have you already collected the Cinderella Castles? Because I noticed that Argos raised the prices to retail when they advertised the 3 for 2 offer. I reserved all my castles just before midnight, I can't imagine they will honour the prices on the email

I ordered them at 2am when 25% off. Went to collect and they were at 59.99 so told lass on desk and she just checked reservation on computer and honoured it at that as was same day. They're sat in my house now 3 for

I did the same as you Tabby cleared out all the Minecraft sets from the 5 stores near me, because no matter what it's going to be a short term double at 20 a pop.

Anyone finding that the email confirmations for collection are not listing all the items that were ordered? For example in some instances I'm ordering 6 and the ready to collect email states only one for collection.

Yes I got those emails.   I was getting frustrated so I just walked in to my local store and ordered them there.  Had to travel to another store to pick up the 2 r2d2's but they still agreed to do the 3 for 2.

Yeah it was a total mess as it was last year, you end up ordering 3, getting a 'ready to collect mail' for two then having to go to another store for the free one etc. But not to bad if there's 2 Argos in the same city.

Some of you guys living in less populated areas should be really fortunate with this. Here in the Midlands as you know the population is quite dence and most of the shops had only 1-2 so its really annoying to make it a nice batch to collect from a single store.

I live about 5 minutes away from this 800000 sq ft distribution centre, but have driven 80 miles today getting the sets I wanted!
