jaisonline
UPDATE : this seems to be search issue on the web site. maybe the web site admins and devs are updating inventory or the search function. My phone has the same search error and i'm using a different network for internet access than my laptop. semi-interesting stuff at the US shop@home lego site. while 10228 displays when navigating to it using the Exclusive link, the set no longer appears when searching "10228" or "Haunted House". i remember other sets behaving the same before they were retired. just forgot which ones. it might have been the FB, UCS B-Wing, and / or The Zombies. Anyone remember?

Guest TabbyBoy
I noticed in the UK that you can no longer search by set number or by "retired product". The game has changed.
10230
I noticed in the UK that you can no longer search by set number or by "retired product". The game has changed. All that might happen is that somebody works on the website. I doubt that they disallow searching by set number for instance.
jaisonline
Ja that happened with the SSD. It did not flip to retired it just disappeared from the website in the USA. so you were able to find the 10221 ssd by browsing but not searching? i forget since my attention span for that set was low. fuzzy_bricks
so you were able to find the 10221 ssd by browsing but not searching? i forget since my attention span for that set was low. I just tried searching 10221 and it comes up the same as 10228. It always asks me "Did you mean air?"

biniou
LEGO Shop at Home Europe: 'Call to check product availability', so I'm calling now, but I'm in the queue (surprising). Edit: I called them and they say they are out of stock and its done. Try again in Italian.
snot
How high is the HH reasonably expected to reach in 3-5 years? Is the current going price of around $350 worth it for investment purposes?
Ed Mack
How high is the HH reasonably expected to reach in 3-5 years? Is the current going price of around $350 worth it for investment purposes?it will surpass many recent Modulars IMO.
allen9917
I assume that's mainly becasue HH is less hoarded?
waddamon
I agree with Ed Mack. Wish i would added more. Out of luck at this point i think. I cannot bring myself to pay over retail for an investment set.
Bold-Arrow
Add my vote to that of the two fine gentleman above. I can see $700 on that set IF it is truly gone today.
Ed Mack
I assume that's mainly becasue HH is less hoarded?Less hoarded. Once in a generation set. No future remakes likely. It can be used as a wonderful display piece every Halloween, which is the new cool holiday. Just a wonderfully creative and finished set.

Alpinemaps
I agree with Ed Mack. Wish i would added more. Out of luck at this point i think. I cannot bring myself to pay over retail for an investment set. There are times when it's worth it. I learned that by watching some of the masters here. I've purchased quite a few sets on the aftermarket, that I've been able to turn into a nice little profit. You just have to do a lot of research, be picky, and take your time.
biniou
How high is the HH reasonably expected to reach in 3-5 years? Is the current going price of around $350 worth it for investment purposes? 3x to 4x MSRP But I wouldn't pay $350 for that set. Check for better deals. Guest TabbyBoy
Under the current climate, I think doubling your money on FeeBay with any modular after fees/postage is being optimistic. There a huge amount of selling competition now compared with the old Cafe Corner days.

Flemdog33
If it doesn't come back at all before Christmas I can see $400+. Amazon cheapest $346.99, EBay BIN about $330 and auctions quickly moving to $300 +.
