sroster
http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwi/tag/4663440486.html Haven't looked at my CL for awhile, saw this. Would be fun to have this pull up to your house. For me would be insta-divorce.
marcandre
There is some money to be made there. I would make an offer if it were local.
KShine
I would like to see the math on the 40k - If he calculated it, why not show it? Edited September 13, 2014 by KShine
iahawks550
This would have potential.......only 8 hours away.
JRandall
I live right there.. but talk about a hassel to sell all those sets rofl. And 20k yeah right.. I'd rather drop 20k across and index fund and dividend fund immediately rather than parting out that many sets and auctions. The question is why this guy isn't doing that, but is instead cutting his potential profit in half to get rid of these sets so fast. Going over the list of these sets I believe the seller probably has way more lego sets, but these are his small, random, unpopular for the most part, and older sets he's looking to get rid of in one immediate flip. LegoManiacc
BP shows a value around $35k (a couple sets weren't found, so rounding up for that). Would not be worth it at the current asking price to resell with all those different individual sets to have to deal with, but nice for a personal collection at that price. LegoManiacc
Actually, you could have the best of both worlds if this was for your personal collection and only sell off the most expensive multiples. You would get to keep 540 or so sets (at least one of each and multiples of the cheaper sets) and sell off just the 113 sets valued at $30 or more to limit your work for a total of about $11-12k after fees just for those 113 sets....so you're out of pocket around $8000-$10000 for the remaining lot.
