lobo1969
It has been touched on in other threads but RCSS has some serious discounted items to report on. I've purchased a big bulk of items this week. Everything I list is 50% off: 75003 A-wing 75015 Alliance Tank 75016 Spider Droid 75022 Mandalorion speeder 76003 Metropolis Showdown 76004 Spider cycle chase 76008 Iron Man vs Mandarin 79011 Dol Guldur Ambush 79012 Mirkwood Elf Army 70400 Forest Ambush 70401 Gold Getaway 60017 Flatbed Truck 6153 Cinderella's Carriage (Duplo) I'm sure I'm missing some others particularly from the CITY line. And while some 2013 sets were discounted other 2013s were not for some reason. I saw dozens and dozens of 75000 and 75001 army builders sitting there for regular price but that could change at any time.
Sandwraith
I almost never check RCSS as the one closest to me has **** all for stock, but i may take a peek today as i do want a few of those for personal collection

Some stores have maybe one toy aisle with maybe a shelf or 2 for LEGO while other locations have a substantial toy section with a pretty big LEGO selection. I guess expect more from the stores that have the biggest floor space?
speedsausage
Thanks lobo. I'll have to check the one closest to me again. It's too bad the selection is so poor the majority of the time.

I think we all have to be more diligent about checking the RCSS more often because you never what is in stock and what might be on sale during the year. One other thing I'd like to mention, most of these items on the shelf will show the regular price or show an older but higher sale price. I got fooled by this a few times in the beginning but if you do a price check then you will find that the items are indeed 50% off!

maryjmeg
RCSS in Kitchener had Dol Godur and the flatbed truck on sale for $12.49. They had lots of Spider Droid in stock, but they all rang up at full price.
jeff_14
If you have PC Plus, I just got an offer for 16,000 points (worth $16) for every $40 spent on toys. The RCSS I hit always have lots of small to medium size sets from various themes so this could be a pricey weekend.

jeff_14
It was in the weekly offer email. I use the credit card but that shouldn't matter
lobo1969
I should probably sign up for this. And probably a Target red card as well. And maybe whatever card Sears offers....
