Achilles
Hey all, quick question: I noticed I have a few 6137 - DUPLO My First Supermarket tucked away from a couple years back, and these have pink Boxes (implying targeted at girls) - At some point they changed the packaging to the standard Green DUPLO box, with that as the only change to the set. Does this sort of thing occur often? I couldn't find any obvious examples. Anyone think this could have any impact on the value of the pink boxed sets? @rtisan
Interesting! I know the boxes are different for North America and Europe, but not this much. Honestly can`t think of another example of this happening, pretty cool that Lego decided to do this though.
akohns
I noticed this last month about this set. I thought the green version was the earlier version. I highly doubt it will effect the value. Not like any collectors really buying duplos to keep in a box. They have value because Granny jumps on ebay or amazon to buy a gift and doesn't know any better than to check their local walmart for a more reasonably priced current set.
