Kenxxx
Forgive me if this has been discussed elsewhere. I was just looking at Shop at Home exclusives, thinking about my next purchase... 10225 R2-D2, ... or 10937 Arkham Asylum, ...or 10214 Tower Bridge, etc, etc... I noticed Tower Bridge, VW T1, and Pet Shop all have a max limit of 5, ...and R2-D2, Arkham, the Triple-E, Sopwith Camel all have a limit of 2. Could that be an indicator that the latter might be going EOL first, and the others might be hanging around a while? Or is it maybe just an indicator of current (or anticipated) inventory, demand, etc? For instance, the (out of stock) Tumbler is also limit 2, and it's brand new. stephen_rockefeller
No one knows really all is just speculation.
comicblast
Sometimes, when larger sets are first released, they also have limits of 1-2, but IMO this is mainly to give the biggest number of builders an oppurtunity to buy and build the set. Personally, I wouldn't interpret it as retirement.
