jaisonline Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Excellent news! My daughter is gonna love the frozen one. we all will love that set regardless of gender. i just won't be posting a build & review thread of it. ha 1 Quote
No More Monkeys Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Yep, Elsa is going to be a big winner right out the door especially if the build is jam-packed with tons of translucent bricks. should i pair it with UN Headquarters 21018? Quote

wholovesboo Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Watch how fast the Frozen castle goes OMG is this real??????!!!! Quote
fuzzy_bricks Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 These aren't likely to come out before Christmas, are they? Quote
wholovesboo Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I bet the Elsa and Anna mini dolls will fetch a lot. 1 Quote
Sauromosis Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 That looks nothing like the movie castle she builds but i agree, a winner. Quote

Soadfan4ever Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 That will be the most sought after LEGO set of the holiday season! Quote
jbacunn Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I never thought I would be so excited about seeing a Disney castle! PLEASE let it come out before Christmas! 2 Quote
TheOrcKing Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 290 pieces??? Oh, come on!Same as Rapunzel Quote
Soadfan4ever Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 290 pieces??? Oh, come on! That just means it's probably going to be $30-$40, will be the top desperate parents shopping lists and thus an easy target for resellers. I feel the key to the set is the minifigures though. My 6 year old daughter has been trying to recreate them for months. Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 My wife has been really upset these are so pushed towards kids. Small sets are alright, but they are all like half sets and stuff. Give us a big one! Quote

Alpinemaps Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 I bet the Elsa and Anna mini dolls will fetch a lot. I was thinking the same thing. Between the two mini dolls and Olaf...you could almost make a mint just on reselling those. Hmm...got to start strategizing. Quote
wholovesboo Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Yeah I've been clamoring for an Orthanc sized Rapunzel Tower. You know what's missing from the Elsa Castle set? A troll-sized Marshmallow!! (With a hole on the top of his head for an optional crown) 2 Quote
wholovesboo Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 That looks nothing like the movie castle she builds but i agree, a winner. I think the flames in the ice castle are a bad idea. Just noticed the sandwich on Olaf's picnic blanket detail. :) Quote
jtayl230 Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Honestly I was hoping for Elsa's castle to be more like the one on lego ideas. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/58608 Imagine all those translucent pieces! Quote
Locutus001 Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 Eh... Am I the only one here who does not really like the frozen castle? Might sell I give you that but... it's a poor design. Besides where is here huge snow/ice-monster?! ;-) Personally I like the Ariel set better. Though I guess frozen might be the winner. Quote
biniou Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 The frozen castle will be a hit thanks to this part: The rest of the set is so disappointing... Quote
Locutus001 Posted September 15, 2014 Posted September 15, 2014 As far as I am concerned this is the best part about it... (Okay I also like the snowman). Quote
LowestFormOfWit Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 The best part about the Frozen set is that it's Rapunzel Tower sized, so this should be 40 to 50 at retail. Also, I think the closest thing to printing money right now would have to be Frozen and LEGO. That said, the idea mentioned earlier in the thread about an Orthanc sized Rapunzel tower intrigues me. I would totally build that if I had the bricks. Quote
