tonysbricks Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Chase finally coughed it up. Most of the article is fluff that I skimmed but the actual answer is inside. http://www.vox.com/2014/8/27/6006139/did-tony-die-at-the-end-of-the-sopranos Edit: OK kinda of but not really, according to the follow up article. Sorry. Quote
smittypop2 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Did you read the follow-up article at the bottom? Quote
@rtisan Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 A great show, it earned its` spot as the #1 Best Written TV Show of all time by the WGA. Will continue to stand the test of time I`m sure, pure television perfection. I confess though, I`ve seen about 80% of the episodes, not all of them. One day (or rather, a few) I`ll sit down and do a marathon. 2 Quote
smittypop2 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I actually prefer the Wire to it, but it is still one of the greatest shows of all time. Quote
Ciglione Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Best series ever. Watch them all once in every 6 months. In the series, Tony Soprano lives a life most men envour. Quote
stephen_rockefeller Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Worst ending in the history of television......nothing will ever be worse. Quote
sroster Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Here is what could have been the best ending in the history of television: Quote
Ciglione Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Worst ending in the history of television......nothing will ever be worse. When I saw this ending the first time I thought... WTF!!??? But then later thinking about it, it was brilliant! People talk about it. And... one can use his/her imagination about what happened in the dark. They can always make new series if they want to with this "open ending". Maybe with Anthony Jr. taking over his father's business. Quote
exciter1 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I don't know, the end of "Dexter", "Lost" and "Seinfeld" were pretty bad. "Battlestar Galactica" left a bunch of questions at the end of the series as well. "Breaking Bad" is one of the best endings to a series in recent memory. I remember yelling at the TV at the end of "The Sopranos", I thought the cable went out. Quote
jaisonline Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Personally, i still like to think The Sopranos ended after season 1 except for a couple of episodes after that like the "Pine Barons". Season 1 was excellent! Quote
TheOrcKing Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 The end of True Blood the TV series was a bit better than how the books ended....which isn't saying much honestly. Here is what could have been the best ending in the history of television:Didn't a couple of dramas actually end with some dream sequence like the original Dallas? I swear hearing about one that ended as if it all was some kid's imagination. Weird. Quote

Weird.I thought True Blood ended about the best way it could have. Bill never wanted to be a vampire, while Eric rather enjoyed it. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I thought True Blood ended about the best way it could have. Bill never wanted to be a vampire, while Eric rather enjoyed it.It did, and was at least better than how the author ended her books with pretty much everybody dying in the end. Eric and Pam were the best characters in the whole thing in my opinion. Quote
jaisonline Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 That was a great episode. Too bad it wasn't filmed in the NJ "Pine Barrens."Yeah... My fav 3 memories of that episode.. Too bad we never heard from that ex-Russian military man again... He's was Liam Neeson before Taken. Tough SOB. Paula's hair (sides) was awesome kinda like wolverine. Oh, and the kitchen packets scene. Classic. Quote
Ciglione Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I liked (I think season 6) where Tony and Christopher stole crates of wine from a biker dude. When they drive away the guy yells: But I'm with the Vipers! haha Quote
