zskid00 Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 So you did Site to Store for your SSD order? I had 2 shipped to my house and the tracking just shows 1 package, so hopefully they are in the LEGO brown shipper. Quote
brickelements Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Two SSD's ordered on June 18th from Wal-Mart arrived in their own shipping carton which looks good. MInty fresh? Quote

This round the tracking number are from walmart itself rather than fedex. And instead of saying 2*10221 It said 1*10221 1*10221 should have ordered shipping to home. Quote

brickelements Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Online to home. Came in the Lego Case box which holds Two SSD's. Check out :http://community.brickpicker.com/topic/10400-assumed-date-codes-for-production-runs/page-16 For photos of what they look like. Quote
33Lego Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Where are they coming from? Mine are coming from Red Bluff, CA Quote
brickelements Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 No idea at the moment. I am back to work. Quote
waddamon Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 My two SSD from the amazon refresh showed up 9 out of 10 condition. Very pleased. Quote

waddamon Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Prices are moving up pretty well in the auctions on EBAY. Buy it now is pretty high as well. If this will officially retire on Lego.com we will be sitting pretty come year end. I bet next BP update that will include June and July will move it up to $650-700 or so. Let's see some deal on DS 10188 now. Quote

Let's see some deal on DS 10188 now. It's because TRU Canada sold out. The options for the SSD to buy online at retail is thin and the price will continue up higher now. It's already selling at $650 on eBay. Bids are pushing $650 so expect to see $750 for August as kids are running out of things to do and the parents will need something to keep the brats occupied. waddamon Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 List as new, but damaged box and let the market decide. 1 Quote
33Lego Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 List as new, but damaged box and let the market decide. Thanks for the advice. Looks like chance to lose money is low. I will take the risk and try out. Quote
waddamon Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 No problem. I would list one, if it goes right at market prices then I would hold the other damaged one until much later. Quote

At this point, those who missed out would take any price. This is a huge set that isn't a hit and miss. It's a hit and it's going through the green monster of Fenway park. Seriously, if the imperial shuttle doubled, I can't see why this won't double by Xmas. I'd take the SSD over the shuttle any day of the week. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Quote

33Lego Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 I cannot believe all my WM SSD site to store orders got shipped w/o boxing. I will ask for discount. If not, wait for 90 days and see if they pop up again; and decide on return. Anyone having any experience getting discount from WM? Quote
sroster Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 In my ship to store experience I would be shocked to deal with a person who understands how to pronounce discount. They typically have open mouths with a line of drool to the floor, knuckles dragging on the ground, scratching their head in disbelief trying to understand the process of going in back to pick up an order already made and paid for. 30 minutes later, call the manager, rinse and repeat. I already picked them up. Will send online msg or call tmr. Good thing is I have 90 days to consider. If it doesnt show up anywhere in 90 days. It is probably done. If it show up; I will order replacements. Quote

They really are full retard there. Quote
