Darth_Raichu
I wonder how many people on here weren't even born when that movie came out. "One Dollar!" There was one small scene in "Coming to America" that made much more sense only when you already watched "Trading Places".

redghostx
"F--- him! Now, you listen to me! I want trading reopened right now. Get those brokers back in here! Turn those machines back on!" Are you saying that your family built this Lego exchange? I wonder how many people on here weren't even born when that movie came out. "One Dollar!" I make frivolous $1 bets because of the movie, one of my favourite comedies.

Sauromosis
Were they available for hours overnight? Someone said that there was going to be one last run of SSD to fulfill back orders. What is the likelihood that it will come back to fully available?

What is the likelihood that it will come back to fully available? I would say it's going to be slim. They have taken this long to try and get production and pulled it from their website. I'm thinking they might have over flow from what's produced and if orders are cancelled but I doubt it'll be back.
sroster
Not proof of retirement of course but one of the clues I would say. I noticed at Target yesterday where they show the large exclusive ad "scan here for a bigger challenge" in the SW section with the new sets the SSD is no longer shown as an option. Used to be there. DS and R2 are still there, I think Red 5 or Ewok Village took the place of the SSD on the list. Missed another SSD by a couple of hours looks like. Doh. toycrazedchris
Gotta love Target.. Raised their non-existent SSD's to $723.99 - basically price matching Amazon 3rd party sellers although 50 cents higher.

Sell it back to someone who could have bought it at retail for significantly higher than we paid for it?? Mugen Power
Just received my LEGO Shop at Home order from 7/28. Date code is 19R4. Corners are slightly dinged, probably from shipping, but I'll take it! Also, no free polybag included.

LegoBuildingMama
I grabbed two SSD from Sears.com marketplace last night for retail. I've never bought from there before. Has anyone had success with that site? I'm hoping it wasn't a fluke and they actually ship. I don't really need to buy more of this set, but I like trying to see if I can still beat people to buy them. I crave the competition and my ultimate goal is to be my own Target and charge whatever I want for everything.

LegoBuildingMama
I bought them at 11 PM Pacific Standard Time for $399 with free shipping. I have an order "processing" e-mail. Maybe it was just a seller that didn't know they should charge more. I hope they follow through.
