And the more important issue seems to be, can you list something new without having to jump through the hoops?I haven’t seen anyone complain in the last week or two that yet can’t list a new set. I have about 70 listings. 25 were inactive at the time as they sold out in the past few weeks and I hadn't closed them in case of returns. I received notifications for 8 listings. 3 were Inactive and 5 were Active. In my experience, the one that was the most interesting was an an inactive set that Amazon still has stock of themselves. If someone is sitting on inventory, reads that a particular set number is involved, and also worries about being able to move it over the holidays - they may ship their stock into FBA and also dump the inventory - further bringing the price down. There's no rhyme or reason to which listings were chosen by Amazon to require docs except that they're consistently with the word "Toy" in the title. Not all listings with "Toy", but a portion of them. It's not just LEGO. I would guess the listings weren't originally created by Amazon (even if Amazon is still selling on them), based upon the title wording being inconsistent with other LEGO (or other brand) listings. It's also generally newer sets (roughly 2016 or newer). I have listings for thousands of sets, mostly a lot older than 2016, and didn't spot any older sets coming under scrutiny (and some of "Toy" in the title). I have been actively selling 60147 without being notified, my first sale being 14 days ago and the item creation was about 10-14 days prior to that. My seller central shows almost 10k listings, but only about 500 to 1000 are active at any given time. My inventory score stays between 400 and 500. This response applies to ASINs which weren't just LEGO. As others have noted, the rejection includes this specific phrasing that is worrying: "By applying to sell these products you certify that all materials you submit in conjunction with your application are true, authentic, and accurate. Note that Amazon may remove your selling privileges for failing to meet these requirements." Hopefully that phrasing relates to "true, authentic, and accurate" - and not to merely being unable to supply original lab results.
