I also made my 25, only got the one notice discussed here that said I was out. They sent some goofy emails last year too so I'm not worried about it. Not yet anyways.

I didn’t get anything last week. Last year I got the erroneous You’re Out email, but not this year. Curious why they don’t have a page in Seller Central where you can track your holiday selling status ....

I got my last e-mail on the 19th confirming that I was still qualified since I had already made my 25 sales. It seems like they’ve been sending the emails about once a week or at least every 2 weeks.

My last notice (saying I still hadn't qualified) was sent out on 8/23. After that, nothing. Got one on 8/14 as well, and one on 7/27. Wondering if I should open a case?

You should have gotten something between 8/23 and now. It probably isn’t a bad idea to get a case opened before the deadline. I’ll post again when I get another notice.

FYI.....I received a "good to go" e-mail on 9/4 and then received a "does not meet criteria" email on 9/19. So there's that.........

Thanks guys. Opened a case and got an immediate answer saying they can see I have enough orders to qualify but that they cannot tell me if I qualify as that decision is made by an internal team. No response regarding the lack of emails, so I reopened the case asking for further investigation.

I have a question for those experienced Amazon sellers: Now that I am selling a lot less this year compared to last year (FBA) it seems that my items are appearing in inventory at a slower pace than before. I am not talking about the first few units that show up soon after the shipment has been received by the fulfillment center. I am talking about the subsequent units that trickle in at the rate of one or two every other day for example. And whether the item sells quickly or not it is still slow. Has anybody else noticed ? Does Amazon pace how many units you can sell based on the historical of your sales ? That does not make sense to me as it would lead to more inventory sitting at or in between fulfillment centers, which they try to avoid in general.  A feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Probably being moved around between fulfillment centers.

In my experience, I think quantity of units you have in stock impacts the buy box more than people think.  That could answer the slower sales question.  The more units you have, the more likely you are to get the buy box and keep it longer.

Has anyone else had Amazon orders that are followed by an Amazon cancellation request that is just stating do not send an invoice?   I had one last week and the buyer never responded when I asked them to confirm if they wanted to cancel or just not to send an invoice so I cancelled the order.  I just got another one tonight.   Two different sets.   I thought the first one was strange but now two in less than a week has me wondering if this is a new scam of some sort.

If you ship to a distribution center then your items will go on backorder until they reach a fulfillment center. Even if you are shipping directly to a fulfillment center Amazon will also move your units around. I can tell you the last 2 months transfer times between warehouses has doubled and even tripled. Not uncommon to see backordered at 21 days now when it used to be 14 days at the max but far more common at 3-7 days. We are sending in all of our extra Q4 inventory NOW so it will be live by late November (hopefully lol). It is only going to get worse so if you are typically routed to a distribution center  you may want to look at sending in volume much sooner than later.

No we are currently sitting above 700 on our replen accounts and our Lego non-pro account has no index and we have 1000 cubic feet both standard and oversize for that so not problems at all. We always price and use PPC to dominate the buy box so always sell thru very quickly. No doubt we will sell thru every unit in FBA by 1st or 2nd week of Dec. Lots of new warehouses just coming online and it is already a giant sh*t show so we are prepping daily and shipping as much as we can Mon-Fri right now. I still fully expact alot of inventory we are sending now to be received after New Years (especially small and light).

For sure you need to have inventory that either turns quickly OR has a big enough margin to absorb the fees. If you are caught in the middle you can bankrupt your business.

I have had several FBA orders shipped to other countries.  I think this started happening because I didn't opt out of the global seller option.  I did have a couple of these items get refunded to the customer for some reason, but Amazon did not actually charge me anything for those refunds or returns.  I'm not sure what happened there.  Usually Amazon isn't so generous.

I don't think you have an option with FBA to limit the scope of your sales nor do I understand why you would want to.

The shipping cost and return related fees are going to be the same as a domestic order to you. Amazon has there own IP based rules for what they can ship internationally.

I've had very few returns with my international orders. International buyers pay an insane premium to get a good and are often serious about keeping it.

It's not like eBay's sketchy international sales.
