kenaijoe
Hey guys, was just looking at Wal-Mart.com, 2014 Advent Calendars In-Stock and ready to ship, with a limit of 12 per order. I'd say hurry, but I think that might go without saying. Does anyone know how many of these are in a case?
rastascoob
Should these be available at LEGO Shop at Home tommorrow nothing is showing up when I do a search on their site.

nolanfan34
I'm waiting until October for double VIP. I predict these will be easier to come by this year, I bet they learned from last year when they probably could have sold another 50% above what they did. In the NW these are on the shelves at some (but not all) Fred Meyer as well.
Alpinemaps
After having these in stock for the last two weeks at Legoland California, they were sold out today.
bricketycricket
Saw this in store today, but $50 CAD is pretty steep for some figs and spare parts. Think I'll unfortunately be passing on this.
areyounormal
Interesting that Amazon has a limit of 2 for this already. Thankfully Target is 8 and WM is

@rtisan
Darth Vader looks really good, one of those unique figures that stands out from the group. The rest is meh for the most part, though the kids will definitely love it just the same, not necessarily fun for the adults.

In the NW these are on the shelves at some (but not all) Fred Meyer as well. i grabbed one last week from a local toy store (Kite and Kaboodle). I was going there for something else but saw them on the shelf... The manager told me that it was the only shipment she was expecting. She mentioned that it was probably their last large shipment of 2014 as they've been having a hard time getting Lego sets period. This store had rovers, has Ecto-1s, Simpsons Houses, Technic of all kinds and is hoping to acquire some Exo and RIs. We don't have a Lego B&M store so it seems that this particular store has a line of exclusives.

Last year Lego probably compared sales from the ones before and only made so many otherwise retailers did the same comparisons and just made significantly smaller orders. In any case, there could be a somewhat larger number of these advent calendars made for this year by contrast to the last one. As usual we won't know until we get there and by then it is too late. SnowmanOlaf
I know this is the Star Wars advent calendar thread, but since there has been talk of the Friends and City advent calendars as well, I'll mention it. Christianbook has them for $27.99 which is 7% off(no Star Wars listed yet, sadly). Bonus is they only charge sales tax to Massachusetts and Colorado residents. In stock date of 9/19.http://www.christianbook.com/lego-reg-city-advent-calendar/pd/6059276 http://www.christianbook.com/lego-reg-friends-advent-calendar/pd/6061797

No More Monkeys
Haha, Darth Santa is the next big controversy I guess. Well, they (christian themed merchants) don't seem to have problems with Star Wars in general: https://www.notw.com/products/guys-shirts-lack-of-faith-306178/?adid=gBase-ProductListingAds&gclid=CjwKEAjw1ZWgBRD-n6ew0oan1xwSJABAbf8poE7HuqjXshRHxOPZHZIjFK3YQBHelyjB5UUJ2K9NvhoC8RXw_wcB
gregpj
I was just being a smart ass... I doubt they'd pull an advent calendar of all things given what Christmas means to so many.

mongrelhorde
Was last years SW Advent Calendar selling out an American thing? I'm damn sure these were on the shelves well into 2014 here in Canada, and I even remember them being marked down at the LEGO store here in town and at TRU.
seapotato
In my city they did not even last into December. So I guess it depends when in Canada you are?
