I am trying to add some listings, I do not have an eBay store and I the listing is blocked by eBay saying I have exceeded the max of $6,800. Not sure how they get that number as the max. I know most likely I have to call to ask for an increase just wondering if there is anything else I need to know?

Nah, just call them. Almost always, if it's been at least 30 days since the last time you requested a limit increase (and your account is in good standing) they'll increase it.

Thanks AGAIN for the info. I have never asked for an increase and I am at 100%. I have a bunch of Lenox and vinyl my dad gave me to sell for him on eBay but have to do some reading on how to list and package. Two items I can see arriving broken.

Edit it was Max Value not number of listings I think I only have 7 listings

Max value is the total amount of $ you can sell per month. If your limit is $6800 and you have sold 6 items for $10 each plus 1 item listed for $6740 BIN, you hit your limit for that month.

Just call them to increase your limit
