lego rules Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 stock left at walmart.ca whoever still wants em in canada better hurry. These were widely available last week and is pretty much gone. Quote
Veegs Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 This went oos yesterday afternoon at TrU.ca They only had about 12 in stock two days ago at TRU.ca and I got two with the airlmiles promo. Walmart.ca has quite a few but I'm hesitant to order too many for fear of getting some of my already placed orders cancelled. Quote

Walmart.ca has quite a few but I'm hesitant to order too many for fear of getting some of my already placed orders cancelled. I'll grab 2 more to hit my target if they're still available late next week. I was watching the TrU stock for a couple of weeks. There was a 100. Then there was a significant drop to approx. 30, then to 9 yesterday and poof last night. Quote
gregpj Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 My order from S@H (placed on Nov 26) just arrived. Minty fresh, seal codes are 27R4. I had never ordered any direct from Lego so I was glad they momentarily bleeped back into existence there last week. Quote
thlien Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 maybe this should go into order status forum, but thought it would be good here too. Dec. 4th ~9pm PST R2 came in stock shortly at LEGO Shop at Home. Placed my order for one and the later that evening rec'd an order update stating that the order will be delayed. Today, received an order update canceling the order. "The demand for the item(s) listed below has exceeded our expectations and the item(s) are no longer available. We regret to inform you that the order for these item(s) has been cancelled from your order #Y" The interesting piece is the no longer available comment. Though it's still ToOS on the website. Quote
asharerin Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 The last of our R2s just got delivered from LEGO Shop at Home. Mix of 27R4 and 36R4. Quote
ravenb99 Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 The ones in store this week were 36R4 as well also Quote
bluebeatz Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 I can get some R2s for 190 Euro, should I buy them? Quote
rich79 Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Because i can still buy them way cheaper and i can't hold 50 sets. And a other thing is there is not much interest in R2D2 here in Holland, i have a lot lego sets on a bidding site and this one has by far the less views of them all even if i offer it Quote
Koenta Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 I also wonder where you buy them in Holland please pm me also :-) Quote
Guest TabbyBoy Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Probably piggybacking an Intertoys order. Quote
Ciglione Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 I am also wondering where.... pm me too! Quote
blue leader Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Apparently the Lego store "near"me has 2 r2s...both in the back..only available by request. Too bad it's 1.5 hrs away Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Brickpicker mobile app Quote
wceagles Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 in Australia, this is a Target Exclusive and currently on sale for 199AUD. Until today, plenty were available online (30+)...today i can add only 9 to cart..but the product page has disappeared ie no longer appears on their main site or in search results. (as opposed to arkyham aslyum where they still have plenty of stock) Quote
Crustybeaver Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 What's the general consensus with this set: retiring - out of production or pulled due to quality issues and making a return again sometime next year? I'm beginning to wonder about the validity of 'Sold Out' status after RI's are back in stock. Quote
bricketycricket Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 What's the general consensus with this set: retiring - out of production or pulled due to quality issues and making a return again sometime next year? I'm beginning to wonder about the validity of 'Sold Out' status after RI's are back in stock. R2 has been out for years, RI has been out for months. I'd say Sold Out is more meaningful in this case Quote
MikeF Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 My guess is Sold Out as in once they have gone they are gone. When I picked up the last one from Manchester the storeperson told me that they wouldn't be getting any more in stock again Quote
Busch97racing Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 I have 2 lego stores in my area, both of which no longer have them on the shelf, filled instead with the death star. i hope this one goes here shortly. Quote

Jules_K Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 and R2D2 in Australia (at least online) is no more..all 9 must have been purchased in the last 24hrs I think this is done for good now here, I'd be surprised to see it come back in stock at Target. Quote
MikeF Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I think its done for good everywhere (apart from the private sellers of course) Quote
tractorboy Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Yeah I think it's done. The RI was a totally different scenario. Quote
