For a $179.99 MSRP I like where it is heading and the speed with which it is getting there. Does anyone else wonder if this thing will exit quicker than the other sets and not pop up like GE and TH have? Hmm.... The shelf was packed full with at least 8 of them, and god knows if they had more in the back. But they also had plenty of the TH days before the panic set in, so who knows. Full shelf with more in back, just like last week when I went there, and every other time I have ever been there. I don't think I have ever seen less than 6. Even on the days right before delivery. Since Target & Amazon went OOS a week or so ago there has been a couple of insignificant pop ups at Toys R Us. But that is it. Lego B&M has it and a good supply but I think that is it. It may come back some but please by all means do not buy it, I'll try to get more. I've been selling some of my GE's to acquire more R2's when I can find them. Just look at the appreciation on ebay from $180 to only 2 left at $258-259 and then it goes over 260. Yes it is Christmas but this set is done and as per my earlier post R2 was photographed all over the Star Wars Episode VII After Party. R2-D2 Rocks. Since they have so many I threw one from my stash on amz after lunch for $280 and someone just grabbed it. Easy $50 and some vip points, will hit the mall first thing to replenish.
