Littlepalms Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 Just a quick intro. I have come back to the fold after 20 years away! I collected town lego until I was a late teen and then boxed it up. When my kids got interested in Lego I got it all out again. This got me going again. In a good/bad way. I now have the freedom to buy what and when I want unlike my younger years but that has meant some major shopping sprees when I probably shouldn't My likes are still City with a passion for Modular. My collection is mostly about a joint interest with the kids but this time round I made sure I have kept every box and instruction. Looking forward to learning more from you all. Littlepalms. Quote

Littlepalms Posted August 13, 2014 Author Posted August 13, 2014 Welcome, Be prepared to lose a room! After building our house, we had one room left too paint and carpet - my theatre room. It has been the "Lego Room" for the last couple of years. The wife has been pressuring me to move them somewhere else, so looking at putting a shipping container in the back yard. I've told her I am going to cut some 40gal drums in half, weld them to the top and paint it red. Can't wait!!! 1 Quote

I am in a similar situation. I actually just got my entire childhood collection from my parent's house this week. It has been really cool going back through my old sets. I am excited to build a city with my son combining the old and new sets. Quote
