Just a quick intro. I have come back to the fold after 20 years away! I collected town lego until I was a late teen and then boxed it up. When my kids got interested in Lego I got it all out again. This got me going again. In a good/bad way. I now have the freedom to buy what and when I want unlike my younger years but that has meant some major shopping sprees when I probably shouldn't ;) My likes are still City with a passion for Modular. My collection is mostly about a joint interest with the kids but this time round I made sure I have kept every box and instruction.

Looking forward to learning more from you all.

Welcome,

Be prepared to lose a room!

After building our house, we had one room left too paint and carpet - my theatre room. It has been the "Lego Room" for the last couple of years. The wife has been pressuring me to move them somewhere else, so looking at putting a shipping container in the back yard. I've told her I am going to cut some 40gal drums in half, weld them to the top and paint it red.

I am in a similar situation.  I actually just got my entire childhood collection from my parent's house this week.  It has been really cool going back through my old sets.  I am excited to build a city with my son combining the old and new sets.
