Sparkesy43
Going through my recently reclaimed childhood collection, I was interested to find out my oldest set. I've only sorted the tattered instructions so far, but I have a 6609 from 1980, as well as several from other years in the 80s Here it is http://brickset.com/sets/6609-1/Race-Car What do you have? Sparkesy43
Lego Space 918 One Man Space Ship (1979). I loved this set, as a kid. There's something familiar about that wide blue piece with the space logo on it. I don't have instructions for it, but I may have that in the bulk lot somewhere. There's plenty of familiar sets on Brickset that I don't have instructions for but are pretty certain I have.
stoltzjl77
483 Alpha Rocket Base (although the one I've got might be 920 Rocket Launch Pad - not sure as I don't have the instructions any more). Super fun set, though my favorites from the classic space are 6980 Galaxy Commander and 6930 Space Supply Station.
TWO2SEVEN
I will be sorting through my childhood collection over the next week or so. I think I started collecting Lego in the late 80s. I guess we will see what all I have in those boxes

Darth_Raichu
6929 StarFleet Voyager. A starship capable of transporting its own cargo? What a novel idea !!!! The alternate builds at the back of the box were some of the best alternate builds of any space set. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=678XQvUnm7U
TheOrcKing
Oldest set I have is 375 Yellow Castle set I think. That is my oldest Lego set too and the first one I built when my sister's collection was handed over to me as I became old enough.
