legodelorean
Wow, I have a bunch of those grey road baseplates too. I wonder if those are worth anything since they're vintage. I have two old moon crater base plates from the 80's too. Awesome!!

Old baseplates don't tend to be worth too much unless they are in very good condition and even then, if you build at all, they are worth keeping IMO. http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=54&colorID=9 The moon plates are worth more.. http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=2485&colorID=
TWO2SEVEN
I noticed that some of the Wild West sets have "dirt road" baseplates. I also have an island baseplate with one of the Pirate sets.
TWO2SEVEN
Tonight I started the rebuilding of my childhood collection. 6571 released in 1994. The vehicles and figures have already been posted, I just have to get them out of another box. Huskers1236
This is all really cool. My parents kept all my Lego for me, but unfortunately it was discolored pretty badly since I kept a lot of sets in front of a window. It's really cool to see all the printed parts and baseplates, along with the fancy boxes, but ultimately it's what got Lego into trouble financially. I put all of these away in boxes in a closet. I have seen a few yellowed white bricks, but for the most part they are in good shape. I also found a few random things in the boxes. The best one so far has been a Micro Machine haha.

DoNotInsertIntoMouth
For some reason reminds me of Lincoln logs. I loved those.

TWO2SEVEN
Fort Legoredo is reborn! My plan for this weekend is to get all of the Western sets built and take some pictures before I pack them away.
Victorymike18
Very cool! You and I apparently had similar taste in Lego as kids. I'm envious of that Model Team set though! I personally like sorting bins of pieces, it's like a treasure hunt.
