Old_Lego_Guy Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Hello to my fellow Lego fans, I have enjoyed Lego's all my life and still have some of my sets from the early 70's. I came across an article last week in USA Today about Lego Investing and it mentioned Brickpicker.com, so here I am. I have already bought my first five sets and a great price. I work for a large retail store and have access to the sets when they go clearance. I will only buy a new set at 50% off full retail and hope to make a profit. I live in the Seattle area and look forward to chatting with some of you on how this whole process works Old Lego Guy Quote

I must say that is pretty amazing you still have some sets from the 70's! Those are definitely some of the rarest sets out there. Quote
Ed Mack Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Welcome to the site. The Space sets of the 70s were some of my favorite all time LEGO sets. I still have all the parts, just not the instructions or boxes. Quote
