Darth_Raichu
Obi Wan did not look as bad as I thought it was going to be. This one actually looks pretty consistent with Clone Wars TV series
biking_tiger
I've never been much of a Grievous fan, but this is actually pretty cool. He would have made a good Hero Factory baddie.

cdenmier
Any guesses as to what the "May the Fourth" discount sets will be? Got a promo card in the mail from LEGO today saying that select SW sets would be on sale from May 2-4 (also, there will be an Episode IV poster in addition to the Admiral Yularen minifig for any SW purchase). It also said VIPs could win a new UCS Tie Fighter signed by the owner of the LEGO Group.I'm getting my wallet ready... jal4u2c
I got one of those today too! I'm going to pick up the UCS TIE but there will have to be really good prices on sale items to get me to buy more. Gotta save for all the Star Wars stuff coming out this fall. I want to pick up the SW poster as well. I hope they aren't folded but knowing Lego, they probably are.

I still haven't got the Slave I yet, so I'll be using some points to discount that on top of the TIE. I'm going to be real stretched this fall when the new ones come out, but I guess a fan finds a way...
Vinetu
Ok here's what I heard from a Paris Lego store employee today (will be pasting this in that thread as well):I asked about the discounts for May the 4th, expecting a "we do not know which sets answer" BUT!!! Instead he told me that they are telling everyone that DS is the set to be discounted most certainly! I asked him if it was related to this new rumor about DS retiring and new one coming up next year and he said it's what they have been told, so it's the only set they are confirming the discounts for. Also, he could not of course confirm it but said that it's very unlikely anything would go more than 10% off.Your thoughts about this? "Lego Store employee told me today" news or serious indicator? NZ-EUG
75094 Imperial Shuttle Tydirium, Im slighty underwhelmed with this up comming release.New minifigs look great, Han finally in endor camo, but no fabric jacket, updated leia, and rebel soldiers nice touches, sandy bearded rebel, could of had better constrast in print. The Shuttle it self, the shapes look abit out of proption. If anything the UCS verison, is much more accurate and easier on the eye, than this latest playset verison. But I can justify just buying it for the new figs? What are your guys thoughts on this upcoming set? vs the UCS verison?

zskid00
I don't think the Imperial Landing Craft was meant to be the Imperial Shuttle. It's a variation of that design. The 7166 is the only previous system scale version that I am aware of and the new one looks to be much improved on that first attempt, mostly due to the piece count being nearly 4x higher. The UCS is the "ultimate" version and much more on model but it's also going to cost 5-6x the 75094 so you have to consider that.

The sentinal class was designed to carry much more cargo (180 tons vs 80 tons) and was more heavily armored/weaponized.http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Sentinel-class_landing_crafthttp://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Lambda-class_T-4a_shuttle

What do all those other characters have to do with it? That part is pretty funny actually. Edited May 15, 2015 by Jeff Mack
