boxofcorey
New house has a pretty substantial office space that is dedicated to my built displays, etc. But what I don't have currently is a table to actually build on... Anyone have any pictures of what they use or any cool ideas?
knarrff
Our regular eating table (quite big), sometimes covered with a sheet of linen to prevent small bricks to jump away, and to prevent the otherwise loud "searching noises" from bricks rolling all over the wood. This setup has the advantage of forced discipline. First, you have to clean up your eating table if you want to build Lego. And then you have to clean up the Lego when it is time to eat. I know it is not ideal, but this works actually quite well, and we don't have room for a separate building table anyway.
boxofcorey
That's what I'm doing right now but my dining room is on a different floor and I like to leave projects unfinished sometimes instead of rushing through. Might just buy a random IKEA table to put in the middle of the room Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Brickpicker mobile app
Guest brickcrazyhouse
we picked up two corner tables and a straight table to add to one corner piece from ikea http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S79932697/ http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/60251335/ works great for a "office" size room and was cheap. you can kinda see them in the last two pics in my gallery http://community.brickpicker.com/user/15477-brickcrazyhouse/

All my displays and current furniture are black and I'm not sure the IKEA "black" stuff would match all that well.
Guest brickcrazyhouse
they had multiple colors we got black table tops with 6 different colors for the legs (her choice). the black is a deep black and should go with everything. the grays on the death star and ssd contrast drastically
wooble
I use the lounge coffee table for bigger projects that I think may take more than one day. I used to make them on top of the bed but would always get cramp on my knees when I stood up.. getting too old i think!
