There was a great one on Brickset a few ago for 10212 at Amazon US, it was great fun :)

Yes, I remeber that vividly. It felt like new year count down. 10212 is doing great by the way. Hopefully Tumbler won't let me down. This one is a little tricky IMO.

Whoever sits and watches stock levels has way to much time on their hands........get out and take a walk or go to the gym.....something.

Thanks for the kindness in your suggestion but I can walk and chew gum at the same time

Limited run Batman UCS Vehicle.

Did not understand the second guessing of this set at all. IMO it should surpass EEE quickly as the best performing retired exclusive of 2015/early 2016 (funnily enough EEE was another small run exclusive that got hate and sat a long time with the retiring soon tag yet it is beating every other recently retired exclusive handily).

I understand people worrying that this set was massively hoarded but in the case of limited runs that is actually beneficial. This is no DS or Red 5 that were produced in massive numbers for years. Resellers could have purchased every Tumbler ever made and the price would skyrocket.

This is the last Lego exclusive I invest in. Time to move on to quick flipping Architecture and medium Star Wars sets full time for me. I D\don't know if it is true or not but there was a rumor early on in late 2014 that TLG would lose money on every Tumbler produced and only decided to make it as a limited run set as a nod to its DC fans. As things have played out it sounds validated to me. That should tell you something of its potential.

Now that it's practically sold out everywhere, what do you all speculate the price will be in:

- 6/2016 (6 months from now)

- 12/2016 (1 year)

- 12/2017 (2 years)

- 12/2020 (5 years)

Let's use Amazon non-FBA price.

Exactly, it was when you could order sets from the US to the UK, i think you pre paid import taxes etc. through Amazon. Probably now they would be gone in an hour, but was great getting them for 199 Dollars.

This thread has became most spammed in this site. Millions of worthless posts. Last usefull information was 30 pages ago (retiring soon tag) and 10 pages ago (sold out status). For example, why are you counting remaining sets in Target stock or how damaged are the boxes? If you know that this set is sold out and retired, then buy as much sets as your plan is, no way how much sets has Target or other seller... The important information is extremly lost in thousands of posts...

Nice post asherin.  I think sea cow needs a mention with your top sets.  What do you think are the best current arch and star wars sets to flip?

Current sets to flip? I don't know. I have stock of Villa Savoye, Imperial Hotels, At-AT, ISD etc  I stockpiled in prep for the drought on exclusive profits. I will revisit Lego again in the Summer. Just got ungated in grocery, beauty and health so its cornflakes and bubble bath for me until the weather warms up :)

- 6/2016 (6 months from now) 350-400 usd

- 12/2016 (1 year) 400-450 usd

- 12/2017 (2 years) 450-500

- 12/2020 (5 years) 700-1 million dollars

Let's use Amazon non-FBA price. No, let´s use bricklink monthly avg prices as they reflect actual sales - not what some random seller thinks a set might be worth.

Funny I was thinking the same thing except for the part about QF Arch and SW sets, been there done that. Perhaps need to move this talk to another thread as to not spam the Tumbler thread. Ttyl I got to go workout, seriously.

Thank you for that valuable contribution. Some members extract relative data from these posts based on past performance and not only use it on the Tumbler but to aid their decision making process on future sets. Kinda like reading the racing forum prior to picking your next horse the more information you have the better so please don't suggest we censor the "spam" on a forum intended for it.
