trekgate502 Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Yeh this one could be a gold mine for the next 40 days but I am chicken and sold all but the one for me. Put it into more R2's... Quote
mykingdomforabrick Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Upside is the floor is pretty high - I don't think anyone is going to lose money as big as this set is and doubt lego is churning out tons of them, no retail stores, etc. Just a matter of maximizing profit. Quote
trekgate502 Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 I think they produced 5 EEE's of Minecraft and now that we have a limitless supply they will turn to the Tumbler and unleash online mass volume by March. Quote
LegoSteve Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 anyone know what our in store inventory status is? Every time I visit my Lego store (twice a week) I see one one display buy I don't think that means anything. It's displayed about eight feet from the front door so for loss prevention reasons I think they only put one out. Quote

mykingdomforabrick Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Methinks they are going to be churning out minecraft sets for a long time. $$ Quote
Young_Gun21 Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Methinks they are going to be churning out minecraft sets for a long time. $$Micro world included? I am not sure about theses because I could see LEGO keep making them because of popularity but I also could see them getting rid of at least a couple MicroWorlds with all the new sets. Maybe they will see how the new sets affect sales and adjust accordingly. Quote
supergtp1 Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 what do u mean by "5 EEE's"ooooh nm I got it... 5 EEE ship loads. Ha! Duh! 1 Quote
mscheaf Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 My store had moved the Tumblers to where the AA used to be. Still have the AA display up though and no Tumbler display. Mixed signals lego store, mixed signals. Quote
Val-E Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 OOS Lego shop EU at home till 22nd December! Will this be flip of the year? Quote
biniou Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Will this be flip of the year? No, because Exosuit and RI (depending on EU or USA) already won the award. (triple MSRP) Quote
golong Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 I went to my local lego store yesterday (in the UK) and noticed there were no tumblers on the shelves for the first time in a while. With a lego S @ **** dispatch date of 22nd December I note that the prices on ebay seem to suddenly a fair bit from around Quote

steakyboy Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Local Lego store has a tumbler in stock. Not sure if worth buying now for the hold. Not looking to do a quick flip. Afraid of 41999 hoarding...Assuming they will be making more in the next couple months yes? Quote
tractorboy Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 I'll be waiting for 2xVIP at least before I start buying these. I'm sure it will still be around by then. Quote

marcandre Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Where can this information be found? I'm just predicting. When has there been a $200 flagship set that lasted less than 18 months? Batman no less? If this set retires in less than 18 months I will EAT an entire tumbler. 1 Quote

New members who are asking questions can be misled by members who pass their predictions off as fact. I will continue to call out members who do this. It's not personal I'm just looking out for the greater good of the new members, and yes I understand the concept of due diligence. 2 Quote

mscheaf Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 I take it this isn't the greatest xmas flip ever anymore? I guess I still don't regret selling mine for $300 cash a month ago. Quote
