My online WB order arrived earlier this week. I never saw this set in a store yet so it was surprising to see how big the Lego boxes are. About the same size as the Town Hall, 10227 B-Wing, and Haunted House boxes.

yeah its a beast.  When I was back in Orlando at Downtown Disney last month I got a tumbler and a TH and had to walk to very far end parking lot almost to the end.  They seemed equally heavy after that long of a walk lol.

Sorry for the cancellations but this is good news for the rest of us. I got two from WB in late October to flip. With Lego the only source and only in store I hope there is some significant price appreciation in the next 30 days. Lowest BIN is $274 shipped.

The key to this set will be the B&M availability leading to christmas. The website says that it won't be available online the rest of 2014, and that limited quantities may be available in store during October. If the current availability we are seeing in stores dries up and it's not available online, it will be an excellent holiday flip. It just depends on how likely that is to happen.

Perhaps less likely than many think.  Some of what Lego does makes sense, some of it does not at all...

A local seller on CL lowered his price from $275 to $270 and now to $240. Trying to figure out the reason for the lowered price, if he has plenty to sell or if he just wants to get rid of it.

If he lowered the price, my guess would be that he needs the money and he needs to sell it soon.

Yeah still trying to figure out the need for the huge box. It could be half the size.

LEGO seemed to be experimenting with smaller box sizes for awhile - I guess we know how that went.

Of course they already knew what the results of smaller packages would be - but in the meantime, they get to release PR about how much they are doing to help the environment.

Sorry if it has already been discussed but... I can't figure for sure why this set is number 760XX (like other super heroes sets).

(#76018 => #70622 may be some 2015 superheroes sets)

Don't you think something like 102XX would be more... logical for this set ?

I know it's not supposed to an "official" UCS, but I still wonder...
