Arkham326
I went to the St. Louis LEGO store last night with the family and picked up a few pick-a-brick cups. While in line I noticed the assistant manager talking to a customer about the Back to the Future set. The store did not have any in stock but they were available online so the assistant manager gave him a card with a promo code for free shipping on any order from Shop at Home. I asked the cashier about the Ecto-1 and was given a card for free shipping as well. I know most people qualify for the $75 free shipping but thought this would be good for smaller orders. NJHitmen
It's not a generic code, is it? Meaning one that could be used repeatedly/indefinitely? I'd assume these are single-use, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker
Arkham326
Pretty sure it is single use with a unique code per card. Expiration at the end of the year.
sroster
These are very easy to get if you need them. Just ask for any set you are very sure they will not have at a lego store and they will probably tell you to try online and give you one of these cards. I asked for the SC the other day and they were out and he offered me a card even though of course it is over $75 anyway.

bnnosaj
I got one when asking about boxes of track that they didn't have on the shelf. Figure I'll just use it when I am too lazy to go to the store for stuff under 75 and don't want to pay shipping.
Handmemyarms
Same here, all I did was ask if they had more variety on the batman sets, employee told me "no but you'll have better luck online" and blamo, shipping card Sent from my iPad using Brickpicker

TWO2SEVEN
I was also offered one when I was looking for the Ecto-1. I just waited and went back to the store a few weeks later.

jaisonline
My local Lego store told me the shipping promo card is replacing stores ordering out of stock items to be shipped to your house. In the past, you would get free shipping if they ordered for you (even one $10 set).
jmdt
Has anyone else noticed that their current free shipping codes have the wrong expiration date? The current one says that it expires December 2014 instead of 2015. I tried it and it worked. However, I had one left from 2014 and when I tried it in January it did not work. Perhaps the new ones have misprinted dates?
randrace
I was told by an employee that they "extended the expiration date" and to ignore it.
