Like the title says, holla from the wet coast! :drinks:

I've been a member of Brickpicker for a little over a year now. I have only really started collecting in that time frame but with the realization of how expensive this hobby can be I've decided to try to offset the cost by trying my hand at little bit of everything, investing, flipping, and bulk lots.

I've been doing a lot of trolling on the forums as of late trying to catch up on all the knowledge that has been shared by the veterans. I think some of the biggest things I need to address early on other than buying things as cheap as possible are 1) talk to an accountant to keep my glutious maximus covered 2) get your feet wet in selling before you get too wrapped up hoarding and 3) have a game plan/goal in what you want to accomplish without over extending funds.

Any noobs out there getting into this, I reccomend reading the thread "My one-way transition from investor to seller". This put some things into perspective for me.

I'm not the most computer savvy user but I am seriously considering starting a blog on this Lego hobby/investing I'm about to embark on from start up to where ever it takes me. My wife has started her first blog www.mygiftcurator.com a couple of months ago and she has signed up for some "blog making" courses so she would be :help: helping me along quite a bit if this takes off (finding time in our schedule permitting).

Well that's a little insight where I'm at at the moment. Holla everybody!!
